Looking at ng Chi’s gentle smile, Hao Xisheng couldn’t help but shiver. He moved his chair across from Bi Xia, but the chill only intensified. If he didn’t get it by now, he’d be a fool!
Feeling like crying without tears, and with a face full of grievance, he obediently moved his chair to sit opposite ng Chi, his head lowered almost to the table, looking extrely pitiful.
Shaking his head at ng Chi, his eyes twinkled with a faint smile as he pushed the bowl of beef noodles in front of him towards Hao Xisheng, "Eat up."
Facing Bi Xia, who always ca off as the cool, aloof brother but was now being so gentle, Hao Xisheng felt invigorated. He believed that even if he was given twenty bowls of beef noodles, he could finish them all!
Too embarrassed to push the noodles back to Bi Xia, Hao Xisheng held the chopsticks, embraced the bowl, and looked at Bi Xia with so shyness, "To be honest, Your Majesty, I never thought I’d et you. I only ever saw you on TV and really liked you."
"You sing well, look good, have a straightforward and bold personality, and can protect yourself and those around you," Hao Xisheng lightly tapped on the table, "Sotis I think if I just had half of what you have, it would be great."
Bi Xia’s star-like eyes reflected Hao Xisheng’s face. He didn’t say anything, just quietly listened to Hao Xisheng’s words.
"To be honest, I feel quite ashad," Hao Xisheng tugged at the corner of his mouth, "My favorite idol is right in front of , yet all I can offer is a bowl of beef noodles, and what’s more, my idol saw in such a ss. Honestly, it’s so embarrassing."
As he spoke, Hao Xisheng looked up and gave Bi Xia a goofy smile, "But I have thick skin, so I’m not scared."
With a light smile, he turned the direction of the chopsticks in his hand, then lightly tapped them on Hao Xisheng’s head, "Good boy."
Hao Xisheng blushed as he covered his head. Being told "good boy" by soone younger was so embarrassing... but also so happy! That was Bi Xia!!
"The last bowl of beef noodles."
The final bowl was brought in, and there was no debate as it was given to Bi Xia. Bi Xia turned the chopsticks back to their proper direction, picked up the steaming beef noodles, and was just about to eat when he heard Hao Xisheng say, "I didn’t expect you to not mind these things at all."
Bi Xia smiled, "Why would I mind? I don’t have a cleanliness obsession, besides..."
Exchanging a glance with ng Chi, both their eyes flashed with mories, "Besides, my mother also ran a little shop like this."
Just as Hao Xisheng was in a daze, he heard a panting breath close to his ear, and the beef noodles in front of him suddenly were lifted. Then his chopsticks were taken, and the next thing he heard was the slurping sounds of soone eating noodles.
Bi Xia and ng Chi were stunned at that instant, the noodles they had just picked up fell back into the bowl and onto the table, as they stared dumbfounded at the girl standing and eating noodles.
Hao Xisheng blinked, then widened his eyes and shouted, "Hey! What are you doing eating my noodles!!!"
After finishing the last mouthful of soup, Katrina put the bowl on the table and, hand on her hip, looked at Hao Xisheng, "It’s not like I said I wouldn’t pay you, why are you so upset?"
"You’re unbelievable!!!" Hao Xisheng stood up sharply, "Those were given to by Bi Xia, I hadn’t even taken a bite yet, what gives you the right to eat them!"
Katrina gave a provoking smile, "Hmph, just because I’m your master’s granddaughter!"
"You!"
"What about !" Katrina rolled her eyes, "I’m telling you, if I wasn’t starving and you guys weren’t so unkind as to leave in this unfamiliar place, I wouldn’t be eating these beef noodles! How you manage to eat in such an unsanitary place, I really don’t know."
Hao Xisheng: ...You seed to be enjoying it the most...
"I also don’t know how my grandpa could stand eating this stuff..."
Before she could finish, there was a thud, and Katrina collapsed on the ground, curling up and gasping for breath, her face ashen and twitching.
