By the ti they returned to Xiu Zhou, it was almost four-thirty in the afternoon.
After taking a refreshing shower and coming downstairs, Chen Feng saw Wu ngting and Sun Xiaorui, both of whom had already finished work.
Cohabiting with them again made Chen Feng feel at ease and comfortable in his heart.
The carefree life in Xiu Zhou was what he truly desired.
"Why didn't you tell you were coming back today?"
Seeing Chen Feng return, Wu ngting was naturally happy and asked with a smile.
"I just ca back, what's there to say? How's the company doing lately?" Chen Feng changed the subject.
"Everything's going well at the company. 'Green Jade Case' is in the post-production phase, and Sister Lu is selecting films and dramas that we can invest in. She also thinks our company shouldn't start any new shooting projects for the ti being."
"That's good." Chen Feng nodded and then turned to Sun Xiaorui, asking with so concern, "Little Rui, have you been getting used to being at ho alone these past few days?"
Sun Xiaorui shook her head with a wry smile and said, "It's definitely a bit uncomfortable. Sleeping alone in such a big house at night is a bit scary."
Wu ngting glanced at her and said, "The security asures here are pretty good, with 24-hour patrol and fully covered surveillance caras. You really don't have to be afraid."
Hearing this, Sun Xiaorui just smiled without refuting anything.
Chen Feng switched the topic, saying, "Who wants to heat up the dishes? I'm starving and need to eat."
"I'll do it."
Sun Xiaorui willingly went to the kitchen to get busy.
Using the local dialect of Xiu Zhou, Wu ngting directly asked Chen Feng, "When you ca back this ti, what did your mom say?"
Chen Feng asked back, "What could my mom say?"

"Did you miss these past few days?" Chen Feng asked with a smile as he leaned against the sliding door of the kitchen, watching Sun Xiaorui busy.
Sun Xiaorui was neither shy nor pretentious, she nodded openly and said with a smile, "I did."
Feeling a warm sensation in his heart, Chen Feng imdiately said, "After we eat, let's go to the room."
Though Sun Xiaorui was straightforward, she was still a bit shy; her face flushed slightly, but she didn't say much, continuing her work, taking out a cabbage from the fridge and placing it near the sink. She was planning to add a dish.
Seeing the cabbage, Chen Feng suddenly rembered that his car's trunk was still full of various vegetables and dried seafood brought back from his hotown. In such hot weather, leaving them for too long wouldn't be good.
So, he ntioned it to Sun Xiaorui and went to the car parked outside the carport to move the stuff.
In the sweltering heat, a few trips left him drenched in sweat again.
Chen Feng went to the pool in the courtyard for a dip, had a swim in the nude for a few minutes, and ca out of the pool, putting on a tank top and shorts again before entering the house.
By then, Sun Xiaorui had already cooked the cabbage and reheated the other dishes.
Seeing this, Chen Feng went to the kitchen, dished out so rice, and sat at the dining table, starting to eat right away.
"Aren't you waiting for ngting?" Sun Xiaorui asked.
"I'm hungry, so I'll eat first. If you're not hungry, then eat with her."
His words were straightforward, but Sun Xiaorui didn't mind, as Chen Feng had always been this way.
After Chen Feng finished a bowl of rice, Wu ngting ca downstairs. Seeing that Chen Feng had already started eating, she didn't find it improper. Since Sun Xiaorui hadn't eaten either, she didn't feel disrespected.
When the three had dinner together, Chen Feng gave Sun Xiaorui a knowing look and headed upstairs by himself.

Lin Yujiao said she had completed the recording work for the singing contest and planned to return to her hotown Lin Nan the next day, hoping to et him then.
Upon seeing this, Chen Feng replied to her, saying he had already returned to Xiu Zhou and suggested that if she wanted to et him, she should stay for a couple more days before heading back.
Lin Yujiao, upon receiving Chen Feng's reply, agreed without much hesitation.

Chen Feng had already agreed to do this before, so he had no objections now, imdiately agreeing and saying he would et her stepbrother by noon or evening tomorrow.
