"It’s nothing, just had a nightmare earlier!" Leng Zimo pulled her into his embrace, holding her tightly. He raised one hand to rub his still throbbing temples, suppressing the headache, and gently laid her back on the pillow, "Lie down for a while, I’ll go get you a glass of water."
He got out of bed, threw on a robe, and smiled at her as he adjusted the thin quilt over Luo Xiaoqian. Then he headed downstairs to take a pill and drank it, finally pouring a cup of warm water to bring back to the room.
On the pillow, Luo Xiaoqian hadn’t gone back to sleep. She sat up to take the cup he handed her, drinking a sip of water before placing it on the cabinet. She leaned into his arms, "What ti is it?"
Leng Zimo glanced at the watch on the small cabinet, "Just past five. It’s still early, why not sleep a little longer?"
"Is there sothing going on at the company lately?" Luo Xiaoqian asked from within his embrace.
