She lowered her eyelids and didn’t dare to look into his eyes. It was her own initiative to ask for closeness with him, and it was the first ti for the two of them.
Although all she wanted was for him to lie down and rest for a while, her heart couldn’t help throbbing wildly.
"The bed is too small, you won’t sleep well!" Leng Zimo stretched out his hand and held her palm, "Don’t worry, I said I’ll stay, I’ll stay. I’ll leave after you wake up!"

Leng Zimo stood up and took off his suit jacket.
Luo Xiaoqian imdiately moved her body to the edge of the bed, making as much space as possible for him.
Very carefully moving her feet to a position where he wouldn’t touch them, Leng Zimo then lifted the blanket and lay down next to her.
In order not to disturb her sleep, he made sure to occupy only a small space by the edge of the bed.
Luo Xiaoqian glanced at the space between them, pursed her lips, and then summoned the courage to reach out, grasped his shirt, and pulled it towards her.
Thinking she must truly be scared, Leng Zimo extended his uninjured arm to embrace her and soothingly stroked her little head.
"Is this okay?"
"Yes!"
Luo Xiaoqian’s face was buried in the blanket, her voice sounding very muffled.
Noticing the change in her voice, he curiously pushed down the blanket that was almost covering her face, looked at her flushed little face, and carefully touched her cheek with his palm, imdiately frowning with concern.
"Why is it so hot, are you running a fever?" He felt her forehead with his hand, noticing the warmth and slight coolness under his palm, Leng Zimo’s tone beca puzzled, "Your forehead isn’t hot though, I’ll go call a nurse to take a look!"
What fever? She was just a bit nervous and embarrassed, okay?
This guy, could he not pay this much attention to her?
"Can we go to sleep?" Luo Xiaoqian asked, pulling at his shirt, annoyance in her tone.
Hearing the uniqueness in her voice, Leng Zimo looked down at her and saw her sowhat evasive eyes. He instantly understood and his lips curled slightly upward, "Okay, let’s sleep!"
Luo Xiaoqian curled up and closed her eyes in his arms.
Leng Zimo gently laid his injured arm over her, comforting her by lightly patting like one would soothe a child.
His body carried the familiar scent of chocolate, the thudding of his heart resounded in her ears and seed to echo within her own heart.
Having already slept for an entire day, Luo Xiaoqian couldn’t sleep anymore.
Feeling him stop the movents of his hand and hearing his breathing beco steady, she thought he had fallen asleep and tentatively opened her eyes, only to find Leng Zimo’s dark pupils looking at her face with tenderness.
Luo Xiaoqian felt like a thief caught red-handed, her face suddenly heating up.
"Why... why aren’t you asleep yet?"
Leng Zimo’s lips imdiately curled up, "What are you really trying to do?"
Claiming to be scared and asking him to sleep together, yet she wasn’t sleeping.
This little girl, was it that her intentions were elsewhere?
"I..." Luo Xiaoqian lowered her eyelids, "I just wanted you to sleep for a while!"
Was she concerned about him?!
A sweet feeling spread through Leng Zimo’s heart.
Looking at her blushing little face, he naturally leaned down, but then he stopped as if rembering sothing.
"May I kiss you?"
She had just gone through that ordeal; he was afraid he might carelessly remind her of the unpleasant experience.
