Feeling his breath draw near, Luo Xiaoqian’s heart was about to leap out, yet she did not dodge.
Now hearing him ask this question, she just felt both embarrassed and annoyed.
How was she supposed to reply, possibly say yes?!
"No!"
She whispered irritably.
Leng Zimo did not insist, only pulling the quilt down a bit for her.
Luo Xiaoqian shrunk in his arms for a while, and when she didn’t see him make a move, she suddenly began to regret.
He had done so much for her; how could she still be angry with him? Even if she couldn’t say yes, she could have imitated the heroines on TV, simply closing her eyes and lifting her face, right?
Licking her lips, she quietly lifted her face to peek at Leng Zimo, whose eyes were already closed.
She took a deep breath and finally gathered the courage to quickly kiss his lips, then imdiately shrank back under the covers.
Leng Zimo opened his eyes and observed her lashes fluttering in panic.
He smiled, planted a gentle kiss on her forehead, and then wrapped his arms around her even more tightly.
"Good girl, sleep!"
In the dimly lit hospital room, on the narrow hospital bed, the couple embraced peacefully and beautifully.

The next day, as he had promised, Leng Zimo waited until she woke up, helped her wash her face, and watched her have breakfast before leaving.
As the nurse was helping her with the IV drip, Yu Tong and Xu Xia also arrived at the hospital room.
"How co both of you are here together?"
Seeing the two people arriving one after the other, Luo Xiaoqian was pleasantly surprised.
"We just happened to et, and at first, I didn’t recognize Miss Xu. Later, when we got into the elevator, that’s when I recognized her!" Yu Tong placed the fruit she brought onto the table and carefully lifted the quilt to look at Luo Xiaoqian’s injured leg, "Xiaoqian, what exactly happened to your foot?"
"This one, I tell you, always goes all out in anything she does, probably got so tired from recording these past few days that she could even fall down the stairs and hurt her leg!" Xu Xia also leaned in to look at her foot, "You alright?"
"It’s nothing, just a minor injury!" Luo Xiaoqian replied casually. "What about you, how co you have the ti to visit ? Weren’t you in closed training?"
"Training’s all done. Since you and Shen Xinyi both dropped out, I’m the first place, and I got to advance directly to the finals!" Xu Xia giggled, "So I’m in your debt!"
"That’s your own ability, what’s it got to do with !" Luo Xiaoqian shot her a look, "Right, give it your all in the finals, I’m leaving national first place to you!"
Xu Xia sent her a disdainful look, "Cut it out, ’giving it to ’. What do you want to eat, I’ll wash it for you, how about an apple? I heard they help heal wounds!"
Xu Xia took so fruit and went to the bathroom to wash them.
Yu Tong moved closer to Luo Xiaoqian, "Xiaoqian, you know, the head of Defu Company from our last comrcial performance, Li Defu, got in trouble?"
"Really?" Luo Xiaoqian feigned calm.
"Yes, apparently, they were not only involved in the underworld but also drug trafficking. The news said that Li Defu resisted arrest and jumped from a building, landing right on so rebar and died. His accomplices are also all caught now, and it seems like the company’s assets have been frozen as well!" Yu Tong looked genuinely terrified, "I was scared to death seeing the news. Our performance fee is all down the drain, but, thank goodness, you were unhard. Otherwise, I would have deeply regretted it. Xiaoqian, I am so sorry, I truly didn’t know!"
"It’s not your fault!" Luo Xiaoqian comforted, patting her hand. "From now on, we just need to be more cautious!"
