Luo Xiaoqian finished applying the bandage and, looking up to see the absent-minded expression on her face, asked with concern.
"It’s nothing, just feeling unwell these past few days, didn’t rest well, I scared myself!" Xu Pei withdrew her fingers, "Since there’s nothing wrong with you two, I’ll head back first. There’s the matter of your work plan adjustnt that Ya Nan and Yu Tong are discussing in the eting; I need to go check on it. You guys chat."
Xu Xia also stood up to take her leave, the music video hadn’t been finished, and she ca back in a rush because she was worried about Luo Xiaoqian. This ti, she had booked a round-trip flight and needed to return to Jeju Island later to continue working.

She thought of running far away because she was afraid that, upon being found, he would say goodbye to her.
"Little Fool!" Leng Zimo, distressed, lifted her head to rest it on his chest. "Don’t ever do such a foolish thing again."
"Mhm!" she agreed while nestled in his embrace, "From now on, I will stick to you like a plaster, impossible to peel off or shake away!"
Leng Zimo laughed, "Good!"

Leng Lin stood with his hands behind his back in front of the floor-to-ceiling windows, gazing idly at the pine trees in the backyard.
At the sound of a knock, he imdiately turned around.
"Co in!"
Aunt Su opened the door with a smile, and upon seeing Leng Zimo and Luo Xiaoqian standing outside, she promptly let them in.
The pair, holding hands, entered the hallway; Leng Zimo appeared very calm, whereas Luo Xiaoqian, looking at Leng Lin, couldn’t help but feel a bit uneasy.
"Co upstairs with !" Leng Lin turned and ascended the staircase.
Luo Xiaoqian stood still, glancing hesitantly at Leng Zimo beside her. He gave her a comforting smile and then held her hand firmly, leading her upstairs.
As they entered the study, Leng Lin spoke indifferently.
"Close the door, sit!"
Luo Xiaoqian closed the door behind her, but Leng Zimo stayed put, neither moving nor sitting.
Leng Lin gave him a look but said nothing, simply bending over to open a cabinet, unlocking the safe, and taking out a manila envelope, which he passed across the table toward him.
