Leng Zimo looked at his father’s face and lifted his hand to grasp the kraft paper envelope, but across from him, Leng Lin’s palm didn’t let go.
Across the table, watching his son’s face, Leng Lin spoke in a low voice.
"I’m showing you this not because I want to prove anything to you. He slowly withdrew his fingers, and the weight of the heavy kraft paper envelope fell entirely into Leng Zimo’s hands.
