He looks at the tens of thousands of soldiers in the distance and there is a big smile on his face
’Tomorrow, I would write a new history in the rise of Empire’ And then he laughed joyfully. Whether he would win or lose, it is determined tomorrow, that what he does would be written in history.
If he won, eternal glory awaits. If he loses, it would just be one loss against the world. he could still rise up.
Aero then returned back to his tent. He went to his bed and lied down. It was not long until he went to sleep.
In the middle of the night, he once again enters that dream. He saw a white floor filled with blood. There is soone in the tub, and blood is dripping from that person wrist.
He felt pain. And he felt.... like everything is over. Like everything is aningless. There is this sorrow that envelops his heart. Such sorrow that could break a man. He cries and then he was at a bed.
When he opens his eyes, there is a woman beside him. This woman is sleeping. Her lashes are long and her face is beautiful.
He unconsciously smiles as he caresses her face and when that woman opens her eyes and look at him, she smiles.
Aero also smiles. But for so reason, the smile is very sad
The woman feels his arm and he holds her hand. He leaned in and kissed her. She smiles and he chuckles.
He laughed. Then he heard an explosion. The woman hugged him and she was trembling. Aero doesn’t know why she is trembling and why she is fearful.
He put his head back on the pillow and pulls that woman to the bed.
He looks at her, like he had never saw her before until this mont.
She was scared. That is what Aero felt when he looks at her.
She is not scared of him. But she is scared of sothing. The sound of explosion could still be heard.
Why was there the sound of explosion? Aero thought.
But then, he in the dream leaned over and kiss her, like he wanted to convey certain feeling, reassure her and wish away her fears.
The scene of the dream changes and then they are in front of a glass mirror.
The architecture of the glass is very bizarre yet at the sa ti is very familiar. It is nothing like the mirror glass in the Vilajeri Continent.
Aero saw falling stars from the sky, that falls and created beautiful fireworks. She holds him tighter and then Aero heard what he said
I love you. That is the word he said to that woman. The stars fall, but he keeps smiling. Like he had release a burden and express what is truly in his heart.
The scene changes again and this ti she embraces him, tears stread down from her eyes and the fear was too much for her that she is trembling all over.
But he remains brave. For so reason, Aero believes that is what he should be for her. For him to be brave, so that she could be brave.
He is fearful. He is afraid. But for her, he had to be brave. And then he heard she say
’I love you’ And even though Aero knows that he is in a dream, he could not help but feel a feeling that is so foreign for him
He felt happy. But this happiness is different than normal happiness. This happiness has no na
A brand new kind of happiness that he could not describe simply with words. There is no word to describe this kind of happiness.
Who is this woman?
That is the question that is in Aero mind.
Who is this woman that could affect him so much with only a few words that made him happy beyond anything imaginable with only three words?
He embraces her.
And then light fills the world and he opens his eyes. It was dawn of the morning. His entire body shivers and he was trembling.
It was like a nightmare.
But it was also a good dream. Aero did not know how to explain what he is feeling for that dream
Is it a good dream? Is it a bad dream? Part of him feels happy. Other part feel sorrow. It is sothing that he still doesn’t understand.
Was it a mory or was it a dream?
Whatever the truth was, he did not have the ti to think about it.
He got up from his bed and wipe the sweat on his forehead. Maybe if not for the Curse of Styx he would probably got a fever, he thought to himself
He walks out from his tent and take a deep breath of the dawn and then he asks one of the ssenger to send ssages to the general and commanders to all co to his tent in the morning
As the ssenger goes to inform the generals the ssenger that he had waited for had finally co and relay the news they got from Duvar.
Aero who had the intention to eat breakfast was interrupted but he was not angry at this since he has been waiting for news since yesterday
Opening the letter, Aero read it and he frowned for a bit but he also seems relieved.
’It seems...I still have ti’ he muttered under his breath, as he put down the letter from the ssenger and smiles
From the report, Veva had taken down a few castles and forts all along the route to the capital of Duvar.
But they are still not in the vicinity of the capital city so Aero still have ti. The advantage is still on Aero side.
The report also denotes where the forces of Veva is currently at. United Kingdom of Veva split their army into four. The first force is led by Zeus. The second is led by general Bart
The third is led by Eric. And the fourth is led by General Bryan a rising general in Veva and favored by Eric.
They split their army into four to quickly break down the passes and they would reunite with each other in front of the capital cities. Most of the cities they passed is razed to the ground.
Aero could understand why.
After all, their objective is only one thing. And that is the capital of Duvar. As long as they could take Duvar, from there they could slowly take the city and rebuild it back.
But if they try to be magnanimous and they failed to take the capital city, when they have to return back to their territory, they would have these cities trying to hold them back if they ever have to retreat
With this information, Aero could see that Eric had already prepared himself to lose and still have a way to exit his position.
Eric is speeding through the cities to reach and take the city before Aero could move. But Aero is not anxious.
Speed has its advantages but it also has its con.
If United Kingdom of Veva pushed their army to be fast and did not stop, by the ti they reached the capital and having to face the garrison of the holy city they would then be slowly weakened.
And when Aero and his army do arrive, it would be a perfect opportunity for him to defeat Eric. Instead of rushing. Aero only need to maintain a normal pace
That is one of the plan that popped out of Aero mind when he thinks of how to deal with Eric
With his army and combined that with the army that is already present in Duvar, he could force Veva to retreat and if he is lucky he might even be able to inflict great damage to United Kingdom of Veva army
Aero then took another letter and opened it.
This letter cos from the Karak frontline. The fact that it arrived here this morning, ans this letter must have been sent a few days before
He opens it with the letter knives and then read the letters.
The letter was encrypted but since the encryption key is sothing that was shared among the top leaders of the army Aero could easily read it like he is reading normal letter
’Dan’ he thought to himself.
It also has been a long ti since he saw Dan face to face. Aero could guess he must have been shocked when he received a letter from him.
The first part of the letter scolds him for not telling him where he was hiding for the past two years and he said he would have helped if he knew.
The other half is about the situation in the battlefront of Karak. Fortunately, it is a good news
Aero nodded and smiles.
Dan reported that he had taken half of the territory of Karak, gaining control of the eastern region of Karak, subduing a few cities and controlling the most prosperous port in the eastern region
He also reported that Savillia kingdom generals General Alonso de Seville and General Marcello de Ascara had taken almost all of the eastern region of Karak
Dan is asking for advice on how to deal with the matter of Karak and what terms should he gave them
He sighed and shakes his head
