After parting ways with Gu Lin, Pei Ze headed straight for the main gate of the base.

The mission was over and he had already exchanged his resources, so there was no reason to stay.

Su Ya and Peng Yan were standing near the main gate. When they spotted Pei Ze, they imdiately hurried over.

"Sir."

Pei Ze smiled. "You’ve both worked hard."

"Not at all!" Su Ya said hurriedly, her eyes filled with anticipation as she gazed at Pei Ze. "It’s our honor to follow you, Sir."

Peng Yan gave a sincere smile. "My goal has always been to follow a powerful expert like you, Sir."

In response to their clear intentions, Pei Ze smiled and patted each of them on the shoulder. "Go back and train hard. Don’t slack off. I’ll co find you again after I beco a Wizard."

The implication was clear.

Hearing this, Su Ya and Peng Yan’s faces lit up with joy, and they nodded vigorously.

"Yes, Sir! I won’t let you down!"

"Neither will I!"

Pei Ze said nothing more, simply offering a smile before turning and leaving.

Only after Pei Ze was a good distance away did Su Ya pump her fist in excitent, her face flushed red.

Her long-held wish had finally co true, and she was so overjoyed she felt like jumping up and down.

Peng Yan was also grinning from ear to ear.

For the two of them, becoming followers of a genius with limitless potential like Pei Ze ant their futures were undoubtedly bright.

...

After returning to the apartnt he hadn’t occupied for over half a month, Pei Ze first used Energy Particles to clean the place. He let Xiaoyi and Wuyu roam free, then sat down in the living room to check his status.

During the last five days of the mission, he had barely consud any Spiritual Power, dedicating it all to accelerating the analysis of the Will Rune.

After five days, Will Rune No. 26 was complete.

The analysis of Will Rune No. 27 was also about a third of the way through.

His Spirit attribute had also broken the 120-point mark.

[Spirit: 120.48]

[Constitution: 64.96]

[Task 1: Analyze Will Rune No. 27. Estimated ti: 120 days]

[Task 2: Improve Weakening Beam Spell model. Estimated ti: 63 days]

[Task 3: Improve Silent Illusion Spell model. Estimated ti: 58 days]

’My Constitution is almost at the Peak Grand Knight level.’

Based on Pei Ze’s recent observations, the Constitution of a Peak Grand Knight was around 70 points.

At his current rate of growth, he could break through to the Peak Grand Knight realm in half a month at most.

However, breaking through to the Legendary Knight realm after that wouldn’t be so easy.

The criteria for advancing to Legendary Knight required not only a Constitution attribute of over 100 but also mastery of Elental Power.

Neither of these requirents was easy to et.

’Right now, my Constitution growth is entirely dependent on my Spirit increasing. The gains from practicing the Cyan Mist Breathing Technique are already negligible.’

Pei Ze had actually considered improving the Cyan Mist Breathing Technique, but after careful thought, he decided to postpone it for the ti being.

It wouldn’t be too late to upgrade the breathing technique after he finished constructing all the necessary Will Runes and mastered all the required Magic and tamagic skills.

As for Elental Power, the good news was that as a Wizard Apprentice, Pei Ze’s sensitivity to Energy Particles far surpassed that of an ordinary Peak Grand Knight, making it relatively easier for him to communicate with the elents and awaken his Elental Power.

As long as his Constitution attribute t the requirent, it shouldn’t take long for him to advance to Legendary Knight.

After composing himself, Pei Ze took out the mory Crystal Ball from Gu Lin and began scanning its contents with his Eye of Omniscience.

The scan took a little over half an hour for the Eye of Omniscience to complete.

Pei Ze then spent another ten minutes or so digesting the knowledge in his mind before opening his eyes and letting out a long sigh.

’The knowledge of enchanting is truly as deep as an abyss. There’s so much in just a single branch. It would take a huge amount of ti to learn it all, even with the Eye of Omniscience.’

After a brief rest, Pei Ze began to carefully sort through the information.

Gem Enchantnt was an important branch of enchanting. What set it apart from other thods was its primary reliance on Gemstones as a material.

Because of this, the properties granted by Gem Enchantnt were heavily restricted by the materials, and the variety of Magic Items it could produce was not as broad as with other thods.

The advantage, however, was that the resulting Magic Items were often of high quality, reaching at least the Glimr-grade level.

Furthermore, Gem Enchantnt also encompassed most of the derivative arcane arts from other enchanting disciplines.

The two that intrigued Pei Ze the most were undoubtedly Elental Runes and Magic Tattoos.

Elental Runes, as the na implied, involved condensing an Elental Rune and applying it to oneself or an object to grant it a corresponding elental effect.

For example, applying a Lightning Rune to a weapon would temporarily grant it lightning damage and a paralyzing effect.

Applying a Gale Rune to one’s body could make it lighter, significantly enhancing agility and flexibility.

In simple terms, Elental Runes were an arcane art that could temporarily turn ordinary objects into Magic Items or grant temporary buffs to oneself.

’It feels like an advanced technique for manipulating Energy Particles, and it’s also sowhat similar to the Elental Power of a Legendary Knight.’

Pei Ze pondered for a mont.

Elental Runes consud very little Spiritual Power. Once mastered, they could be combined with close combat to produce impressive results, making them extrely practical in a fight.

Without a doubt, this was an arcane art he had to master.

Pei Ze quickly made his decision and turned his attention to the information on Magic Tattoos.

Magic Tattoos could be seen as a more extre and specialized form of Elental Runes.

The specialization lay in the fact that Magic Tattoos could only be drawn on the human body; they had no effect on inanimate objects.

By inscribing various tattoos onto the skin’s surface, a person could gain a variety of magical properties, including but not limited to elental effects.
