Now reading: Chapter 105 - 83: Elemental Rune and Magic Tattoo (2) from Age of Wizards: I Can Analyze All Things, a Eastern novel by Zelda Wanderer.

For instance, the protective properties of a Protective Ring could be converted into a Magic Tattoo inscribed on a person’s body.

To use it, one simply had to inject a small amount of Spiritual Power to activate the Protective Force Field.

This perfected form ant Magic Tattoos were not just more effective than Elental Runes, but also permanent.

They would last forever unless the recipient actively had them removed.

Compared to Elental Runes, the secret art of Magic Tattoos was undoubtedly more advanced.

Magic Tattoos were divided into three tiers based on their inscription difficulty and effect strength: Upper-Level, Interdiate, and Subordinate.

The higher the level of the Magic Tattoo, the stronger its effect.

However, they also had stricter requirents regarding the rarity of the materials and the constitution of the recipient.

A Wizard with an insufficiently strong constitution could not have an Upper-Level Magic Tattoo inscribed, even if they possessed the necessary materials.

Most Wizards who got Magic Tattoos started with Subordinate Magic Tattoos. Once their constitution improved, they could upgrade to higher-level ones.

’Interdiate Magic Tattoos require a constitution on par with a Legendary Knight. Right now, I can only handle Subordinate Magic Tattoos.’

Pei Ze murmured to himself.

Even so, many Subordinate Magic Tattoos had powerful effects.

For example, the Flash Magic Tattoo, once activated, allowed for an instantaneous shift to any position within a hundred ters, an effect comparable to the Three-Ring Spell, "Flash Skill."

The Invisibility Magic Tattoo could grant one minute of invisibility upon activation, equivalent to the Two-Ring Spell, "Invisibility."

There were also offensive Magic Tattoos like Ice Burst, Thunder Burst, and Blazing Fla, which, upon activation, had power comparable to a Three-Ring Spell.

Despite the drawback of an extrely long cooldown ti, they could serve as a perfect trump card for a Wizard Apprentice.

The sa was true for Pei Ze.

A Wizard, or a Wizard Apprentice, could never have too many trump cards.

’Unfortunately, the materials needed for Magic Tattoos are mostly very rare. It won’t be easy to collect them all.’

Pei Ze thought for a mont, then silently commanded:

"Omniscience, analyze Elental Runes."

[Task created. Beginning analysis of Elental Runes. Estimated ti: 646 days.]

’So long!’

Pei Ze’s brow furrowed slightly. After a mont’s thought, he commanded again:

"Analyze Lightning Rune."

[Task created. Beginning analysis of Lightning Rune. Estimated ti: 129 days.]

’That’s more like it.’

Pei Ze nodded to himself and silently commanded once more:

"Omniscience, analyze Flash Magic Tattoo."

[Task created. Beginning analysis of Flash Magic Tattoo. Estimated ti: 355 days.]

Without hesitation, Pei Ze paused the improvent tasks for Weakness Beam and Silent Illusion, planning to first complete the analyses of the Lightning Rune and the Flash Magic Tattoo.

’Now I just have to wait for the Realm of Truth to open.’

The Realm of Truth’s next opening was at the end of February, a little over a month away.

Pei Ze estimated that by then, he would have finished constructing the remaining six Will Runes.

But it didn’t matter. The Power of Rules he would obtain could be used to analyze tamagic techniques, Elental Runes, and Magic Tattoos. It wouldn’t be wasted.

Pei Ze stretched. Just as he was about to get up, he turned his head and saw that Xiaoyi had fallen asleep on the sofa at so point.

He smiled, found the little one’s special blanket in the corner of the sofa—a face towel—and gently covered her with it. Then, he also went back to his bedroom to rest.

As for Wuyu, it stood by the window as usual, gazing up at the night sky at a forty-five-degree angle.

Having transford into a mist-like lifeform, it no longer needed to sleep.

...

「The next day.」

Pei Ze rose early. After finishing breakfast, he left and headed for dicine Garden No. 8.

Upon entering the garden, he saw a familiar, graceful figure in the dicinal patch of the front yard.

Yin Xue, who was watering the plants, seed to sense his presence. She looked up, and upon seeing Pei Ze, her face broke into a radiant smile.

"Junior, long ti no see."

Pei Ze smiled and said, "Congratulations to you, Senior."

Yin Xue pursed her lips, a grin playing on her face. "Then I should be congratulating you, Junior. I’ve heard all about your glorious achievents lately. To be honest, I was quite shocked."

Yin Xue was telling the truth.

When she’d first heard the news, she couldn’t begin to describe the shock she felt.

It wasn’t unheard of for a Third-level Wizard Apprentice to kill an expert on the level of a Legendary Knight, but those were always veteran apprentices who had been cultivating their power for many years.

She had never heard of anyone like Pei Ze, who had killed two such experts less than two months after his promotion.

She hadn’t been nearly as formidable as Pei Ze when she was a first-year student.

So much so that the sliver of pride she’d felt from her own recent promotion to a full Wizard vanished in an instant.

Looking at the smiling Pei Ze, Yin Xue couldn’t help but marvel privately.

’This junior, Pei Ze... his future accomplishnts will certainly far surpass mine.’

"Co with , Junior," Yin Xue said gently. "The Master is waiting for you in the laboratory."

Pei Ze’s expression grew solemn. He nodded and followed Yin Xue, and the two of them walked out of the dicinal patch together.

After crossing a wide plantation, they soon arrived at the laboratory.

The door was open. Mo Weng was sitting by the window, his head bowed over a book.

As soon as Pei Ze and Yin Xue reached the doorway, Mo Weng looked up and gestured toward two nearby chairs.

"Sit."

Pei Ze and Yin Xue did as they were told, taking their seats.

SNAP!

Mo Weng closed the book and set it aside. His gaze shifted to Pei Ze, a faint smile gracing his lips.

"You have not disappointed . You’ve done very well."

"Thank you for your praise, Master," Pei Ze replied, his expression calm and devoid of any pride.

Mo Weng took note of this, and a flash of satisfaction appeared in his eyes.

Steadiness, composure, remaining unfazed by praise or bla—these were essential qualities for a Wizard.

Just then, Yin Xue suddenly asked, "Master, what about Pei Yonggao?"
