’Isn’t this amount of Spiritual Power a bit too ridiculous?’
Su Ya and Peng Yan suddenly felt that all their previous worrying had been for nothing.
"Damn it! What the hell is with this kid?"
Huo Nan was about to go insane.
’Does this kid’s Spiritual Power have no limit?’
’How many damn spells has he cast? How is his Spiritual Power still not used up?’
’This can’t go on. If this keeps up, he’s going to wear down to death!’
Huo Nan’s current predicant was the sa as Li Ke’s just monts before. His Elental Power was nearly depleted. In contrast, Pei Ze’s eyes still shone with Spirit, showing no signs of his Spiritual Power running out.
The situation had been reversed. Now, it was Huo Nan’s turn to feel anxious.
If this continued, Pei Ze would very likely wear him down to death.
Those who reached the rank of Legendary Knight were not the indecisive type. Huo Nan quickly made up his mind. His gaze sharpened viciously as he swung his sword, forcing back Wuyu’s flanking attack, and rapidly retreated to create distance.
He only stopped after retreating more than ten ters. He shot Pei Ze a sinister glare, then suddenly let out a furious roar.
The next second, crimson flas erupted from his mouth, nose, and every pore on his body.
The flas surged and blazed, churning and weaving together to form a giant wolf about three ters tall. It lunged ferociously at Pei Ze like a crashing tidal wave.
’Danger!’
Alarm bells suddenly blared deep within Pei Ze’s mind. Without hesitation, he unleashed the Magic Missiles he had already prepared and then called out in a low voice,
"Xiaolove."
With a flash of light, a small, triangular shield materialized out of thin air, blocking his path with a hazy glow.
Imdiately after, Wuyu shot back like an arrow, transforming into a giant shield that stood between him and the Active Shield.
By the ti he finished, the Flaming Giant Wolf was already upon him.
Twenty Magic Missiles struck the Flaming Giant Wolf, but like stones tossed into water, they fizzled out and vanished, leaving behind only wisps of green smoke.
The Flaming Giant Wolf didn’t even slow for an instant, smashing into the Active Shield like a high-speed locomotive!
BOOM!
The Active Shield held for only a mont before it shattered violently.
The halo of light dissipated as the shield clattered to the ground.
The scorching flas imdiately crashed into the black shield ford by Wuyu.
HISSSSSS!
A sizzling sound erupted, like flesh being dropped into sulfuric acid.
The black mist and the flas intertwined, annihilating one another.
Both the black shield and the Flaming Giant Wolf shrank at a speed visible to the naked eye.
In less than the span of a single breath, the black shield, originally two ters tall, had shrunk by ninety-nine percent. It ultimately reverted to a wisp of black mist and flew back to Pei Ze’s wrist.
The Flaming Giant Wolf, now a third of its original size, continued its unstoppable advance and crashed thunderously into Pei Ze.
Huo Nan’s eyes went wide, his gaze locked on the scene unfolding not far away.
When he saw the Flaming Giant Wolf break through both the Active Shield and the black shield, a look of delight involuntarily spread across his face.
CRACK! CRACK!
A series of sounds, like shattering crystal, rang out.
Under the searing flas of the Flaming Giant Wolf, faint lights flashed repeatedly across Pei Ze’s body.
Each flash ant that a layer of Mage Armor had shattered. And with each layer that broke, the Flaming Giant Wolf shrank a little more, and the delight on Huo Nan’s face faded in equal asure.
Gradually, his expression shifted from delight and excitent to horror and disbelief, until finally, only utter despair remained.
After the light had flashed twenty-six tis in a row, the Flaming Giant Wolf finally exhausted its power and slowly dissipated into the air.
And Pei Ze still stood there, completely unhard, his body still enveloped in a faint layer of light.
