After returning ho, the first thing Su Xin did was upgrade the superpower [Unyielding Dead].

He consud 100 karma points.

The system prompt sounded tily.

"Ding! Unyielding Dead has been upgraded to LV2."

"Please choose from the following two traits: 1. Life Purification, 2. Death Resistance."

[Life Purification: A random abnormal state of the body is removed upon resurrection.]

[Death Resistance: Resurrection ti is doubled.]

"Resurrection ti is doubled?"

"Hah! Even if it’s extended tenfold, it doesn’t make much difference. If you’re ant to die, you’ll die, and if you’re ant to live, nothing will kill you."

"I’ll choose the first one — Life Purification!"

[Unyielding Dead LV2: After death, automatic resurrection is possible, lasting for one hour.]

[Trait: Life Purification.]

[Upgrade progress: 0/1000.]

Looking at the karma points, he still had 376 left.

Although he had managed to gather a few hundred karma points through donations over the past two days, allowing both major superpowers to upgrade easily, he was now out of money and couldn’t rely on donations to gain too many karma points in the short term.

He was still far from the next upgrade.

But it was okay; he wasn’t in a rush.

Whether it was completing tasks to awaken superpowers or obtaining karma points to upgrade superpowers, Su Xin treated it more like a ga.

His life was without crisis.

From any perspective, there was no urgent need for him to upgrade his superpowers, nor was there a need to completely change his current life for karma points. At most, he just changed the ti he spent playing gas to experience superpowers in real life, which was far more exciting than online gas.

After studying the superpowers for a while, he started his routine writing work.

...

At eleven o’clock at night.

Su Xin put on casual clothes and black sneakers, donned a mask and white gloves, and pulled a black robe from the wardrobe to drape over himself. He then turned his phone to silent, took all personal items out of his wallet to put in the drawer, and only carried so cash just in case, finally joining his hands together, ready to perform [Concealnt Prayer].

With the precise teleportation function brought by the Space-Ti Anchor Point, his Random Instant Teleportation was no longer a useless skill and could be used as a random tour since he was confident he could teleport back.

However, at the mont he joined his hands together, he noticed no change in his surroundings. He was still standing upright in his bedroom.

"Hmm?"

Su Xin paused, then realized.

"Damn! Does it not count as joining my hands through gloves? Does it have to be this strict?"

Despite his complaints, Su Xin had to take off the gloves and rejoin his hands.

Sure enough, this ti the teleportation went smoothly.

After ten consecutive teleports, Su Xin appeared in a deserted street corner. He carefully observed the surroundings, set a Space-Ti Anchor Point in the dark corner of the wall, and then walked out.

The security in Wanghai Country was much poorer than in his forr motherland. Although it couldn’t be said to be a paradise for cri at night, incidents of theft, robbery, kidnapping, and fraud were rampant. As long as it wasn’t a major cri or didn’t involve the wealthy or powerful classes, it often wouldn’t attract the police’s attention. Once, a police official even publicly said, "Knowing that the security is bad at night, why do you still go out?"

Su Xin had never gone out after eleven before. Although his family could be considered part of the wealthy class with certain connections, getting beaten up would still cause him to suffer, not to ntion facing a desperate criminal where dying ant no resurrection.

But now.

With teleportation abilities and a resurrection ability, although he couldn’t guarantee unlimited resurrections for now, it at least gave Su Xin a lot of confidence.

As for whether it would expose the existence of superpowers, he wasn’t particularly worried. Instead, he even wanted to take this opportunity to see if other superpowered users existed in this world.

He just needed to keep his identity a secret.

The streets at night were very empty, but not as deserted as Su Xin had imagined. Occasionally, he saw a few passers-by.

Perhaps seeing Su Xin alone, soon, three young n looking like thugs approached him. Noticing Su Xin’s strange attire, one of them chuckled:

"Wearing a black robe and a mask in the middle of the night, brother, isn’t this outfit a bit unusual? Are you cosplaying?"

Su Xin didn’t reply, turning around to walk away.

The three imdiately quickened their pace to follow him.

Soon, Su Xin turned a corner, and the three followed, but as they turned, they were dumbstruck by the empty alley.

"Damn it! Where did he go?"

"Was I seeing things?"

"There really was soone in a black robe walking in just now, wasn’t there? You guys saw it too, right?"

One of them spoke with a trembling voice, goosebumps rising all over, causing him to step back instinctively.

"Could it be sothing unclean?"

"Who on earth wears a black robe and disappears just like that in the middle of the night?"

"Let’s go, let’s go!"

The three young n hurried off.

On the other side, Su Xin continued strolling on the empty streets, admiring the serene night view while searching for soone he could save.

Before long, he did find one.

In a secluded alley, two silhouettes were punching and kicking soone on the ground, from whom screams of agony kept emanating.

Su Xin walked over silently.

The slight sound of "tap tap tap" soon caught the attention of the two assailants.

One bald brute yelled, "Golden Shield Gang’s business, outsiders stay away!"

Seeing that Su Xin’s pace didn’t slow down and continued towards them, the bald man turned and approached Su Xin, pulling a baton from his pocket, which extended to nearly a ter with a flick.

"Stop pretending to be a ghost!"

The bald man sneered disdainfully, casually wielding the baton, which let out a series of ’whoosh whoosh whoosh’ noises as if to put psychological pressure on Su Xin.

As they got closer, the bald man suddenly found the black-robed mysterious figure before him disappear.

The bald man’s pupils shrank instantly.

Before he could react, a severe pain suddenly erupted in the middle of his back, as if he’d been brutally hit by an iron bar, causing him to gasp, his vision to blur, and nearly pass out.

Even though he barely managed to stay conscious, the bald man lost his strength from that one hit. His baton slipped from his grip, and he involuntarily knelt down.

"Clang!"

The sound of the tal baton hitting the ground startled another Golden Shield Gang mber.

He quickly turned to look.

The mysterious robed man stood behind the bald man, who lay limp on the ground, groaning in agony, clearly losing the ability to fight.

"Da Qiang! Are you okay?"

The man quickly pulled out his baton too, watching the robed figure with full alertness.
