"Thank you, Mr. Su Xin."
"You’re welco."
Several of them consud the Immortal Bean, instantly restoring their injuries and stamina, and Klin asked again:
"Mr. Su Xin, are you also here to help us deal with Frieza?"
Su Xin shook his head:
"No, I’m just here to watch."
Klin looked disappointed: "It’s a pity, I’ve heard that Mr. Su Xin is incredibly strong. If we had your help, maybe we could defeat Frieza, save Nak Star, and eliminate an evil enemy from the Milky Way Galaxy."
Su Xin smiled and said:
"It would be easy for to defeat him, but if I did, you wouldn’t have the chance to grow and face even stronger opponents in the future. Don’t worry, Sun Goku has a chance to defeat Frieza."
"?"
Goku was taken aback, not understanding why the unfamiliar Su Xin had such confidence in him. But he was always fearless, whether or not he had confidence, he could easily face the legendary evil and terrifying Cosmic Emperor Frieza.
Vegeta snorted lightly from the side.
As the Saiyan prince, he always held himself in high regard, believing his strength and potential far exceeded that of Sun Goku. Now, Su Xin was openly stating that Sun Goku could defeat Frieza, yet not ntioning him at all. It was clear Su Xin thought he had no chance or was simply ignoring him, which made him feel incredibly dissatisfied.
Su Xin glanced at Vegeta, said nothing, and walked over to Sun Goku, reaching out to pat Sun Goku on the shoulder while saying:
"Sun Goku, your strength is quite good, but you’re still a bit short of Frieza. There is a chance to defeat him, but it’s tough."
"Let help you power up a little."
Even though Sun Goku was simple and pure, he wouldn’t let a stranger pat him casually, especially Su Xin, a mysterious and unpredictable strong man in the eyes of many.
Seeing Su Xin patting down, Goku quickly prepared to dodge.
To his surprise, his body seed forcibly restrained by an invisible force, unable to move no matter how hard he tried.
"This... This..."
Sun Goku was shocked, staring blankly as Su Xin’s hand landed on his shoulder.
In the next mont, a massive concealed power within his body surged out, and he felt a noticeable enhancent in his Qi, as if his potential had been completely unlocked at that mont.
This was precisely what Su Xin had learned through the Grand Elder’s body — potential developnt.
On the way here, Sun Goku had undergone intense training, now needing a combat showdown to unleash his potential. In the original story, it was during the fierce battle with Frieza that his potential slowly released, showing increasingly powerful strength, gradually adapting to Frieza’s various forms.
Su Xin’s action served to prematurely unlock this potential, but it wasn’t an overly exaggerated boost and wouldn’t impact the battle between the two.
At most, it would ensure Sun Goku wouldn’t be at a clear disadvantage at the start of the showdown.
The reason Su Xin did this seemingly redundant act was mainly because he had previously beaten Frieza once, estimating that Frieza wouldn’t, as in the original, fight Sun Goku leisurely with amusent.
It’s likely he would start off aiming to kill Sun Goku with all his might.
In that case, Sun Goku wouldn’t even have the chance to transform into a Super Saiyan and might be killed by Frieza in his Ultimate Form right away.
Thus.
Assisting Sun Goku in unlocking his potential was to give both of them a fair fight.
But it also ant the two might comnce an intense showdown right from the beginning.
