"Son, I heard you are going to war with the East," my mother remarked, watching get ready for what could turn into a full war, or sothing even worse.
I did not want it to turn ugly. All I wanted was to enter the East and look for my mate, but they were not even letting step inside, making my worry grow.
"Yeah," I replied dryly. "I hope it is for the purpose of power and land."
That was my mother’s way of asking not to start a war over Iris, which was impossible for to do.
"Don’t worry, nobody will be disappointed," I spoke sarcastically, and my mother quickly stepped in front of .
"Listen to ," she told softly. "I know you are headed there to look for your children, but your children are the only thing you should be focusing on. Forget about that woman. My mother spoke gently, giving sad looks ant to make feel guilty for Lara.

That kind of change would never be accepted in my territory. I had no clue how the East was so gullible as to let their Alpha King be treated this way.
Jas helped us sneak around. However, his precise words were that he knew where my mate was. That threw off guard.
I was confused about how he knew about my mate. Was I right? Had the Alpha King’s son, or the Alpha King himself, found out about Iris and captured her to use her against ?
And then, to my utmost surprise, he brought to a venue. My warriors spread out, making sure they were not heard or seen.
There was a wedding happening. The music was too loud, making it easy for us to sneak around.
But Jas had specifically told to wait for a certain signal for him to announce my arrival.
I was confused. Why was I at a random person’s wedding? Then I saw her walking down the aisle with a guy. My body stiffened. Every part of started to shake.
"What the heck is going on?" Walkin whispered beside , my hand tightening around the gun.
Iris’s eyes were swollen. She was holding her breath and constantly turning toward a specific spot.
I tried to look in that direction, but there were too many people gathered there, so I could not see what had caught her attention.
Then Luca appeared, and I was shocked to see the groom badly beaten. Were they forcing them to get married?
The man beside her started to give a speech. From where we were standing, we could not hear anything.
We could only see mouths opening and closing, showing they were speaking.
I watched them seemingly accept each other until Jas brought out papers. I watched Luca sign them.
Then the man snatched the papers from Luca and started speaking again. This was when Jas had told to co inside.

The mont I walked in and everyone’s eyes turned to , I noticed Iris’s eyes widened as she looked at , almost like she felt hope.
Then my vision blurred as I turned to the side and saw my children on their knees beside an old man. I stopped right there.
The man next to Iris stepped forward, pointing toward . His warriors started to appear around us.
There was sothing odd about them. Their scent was off, unlike anything I had ever slled before.
They did not carry the usual scent of a werewolf. Maybe it was because this was the East and they had never mingled with us, which made them different.
Every territory has its own scent, but theirs felt strange.
Whatever this was, it seed as if these people had a death wish.
Not only did they have my children on their knees with guns pointed at them, but they also had my mate on the stage, getting married.
They were forcing her to marry soone she clearly did not want to.
