Before I could stop or intervene, Amy added, "And the crown looked so beautiful on Mommy’s head."
As she finished, I looked out the window, almost as if avoiding Kash’s gaze would be a way out of this situation.
"Really? That is interesting. So who crowned your mother?" he remarked.
I snapped my head back at Kash, wondering what this reaction was. He sounded more cocky.
"Grandpa did," Amy and Colin replied in unison.
I turned toward them, and their excitent faded when they saw looking at them.
"Kids,Why don’t you look at your tablet, huh?" I told them, "you are talking about fairy tales and dreams."
I added with a fake laugh, holding my hand to my mouth. I did not know who I was fooling at this point. Of course, Kash must have noticed. He was not a child.
We arrived ho, and the kids got out of the car to change in their room so they would be fresh by the ti I had dinner with my father. I had promised my father dinner, so that was what I was going to do.
"Where are you headed tonight? It seems like you have so plans," Kash asked as he stepped out of the car with .
"You know I have a dinner plan with my father," I replied, rolling my eyes at him.
He already knew about it because I had been talking about it with my children. Of course, he still liked to irritate .
"Oh, I must be invited too. I an, I am his only son-in-law," Kash comnted, his hands in his parents’ pockets, smirking like a naughty person.
"Well, you’re allowed to co as long as you don’t upset my father with any of your taunts or mocking," I comnted.
I did not know what made think he would, but he had not even told what he talked about with my father earlier that morning. I was worried. What if there was hostility between him and my father?
"You think of as a very bad person, don’t you?" he comnted, and before I could respond, he added, "Even when I am not the one who lied this many tis."
Of course, he had to bring up how many tis each of us had lied.
"Is there anything else you want to talk about? If so, do it right now. I will not allow you to act weird with my father," I remarked, and as expected, he simply smirked.
I rolled my eyes once again and then went after my children.
The minute I entered the mansion, I saw the coyotes around my children.
"So how was the day?" Zoe asked in her annoying sweet tone, while Colin sat on Kash’s mother’s lap.
I did not know why my children liked these people so much, probably because they did not know what these people were truly capable of.
"It was great, but I am tired. I want to sleep, but Mommy says we have to go to dinner with grandpa," Amy complained, but she instantly corrected herself when she saw .
"Oh, you guys are having dinner with her father?" Kash’s mother remarked. "We had not even known there was a father until recently." Of course, she had to bring it up.
She was not wrong, though. My entire life had been a secret, but because Kash had cheated on , I did not have to explain anything to anyone.
"Why can’t we co and dine with your family? In fact, you can invite him here. He is part of the family. He should be in the main mansion," Zoe comnted, shocking with her words.
"Yeah, it seems like a good idea, as long as there is no hostility," Kash responded, but I hastily stepped toward my room.
That was my way of telling Kash that he could not make decisions for my family without discussing them with . He realized it because he instantly followed after .
"What was that behavior?" he comnted, and I turned around to look at him with a raised eyebrow.
There was a playful look on his face, and it angered even more.
"Why didn’t you ask first what I want?" I asked, my arms still folded over my chest, my foot tapping against the ground as I watched him with a judgntal glare.
"As I can. I’m the husband. I’m the man in the relationship," he comnted, a smirk widening on his face as if he were enjoying saying things he knew would anger .
"Kash, drop this. I’m not in the mood," I warned him.
"What? When are you ever in the mood? Then I have to find it. I have to prepare you for the mood," he replied.
I did not know why, but his words sent a shiver down my spine.
I watched him smirk, then gently scratch the back of his neck before he wandered away with our children.
"Co on, kids. Freshen up so we can have a quick dinner with Grandpa in the guest house. Tomorrow, we’ll have a big lunch in the main mansion with your grandpa, okay?" he told them, speaking to the children while also informing of what he was planning.
Kash and I got ready for dinner along with the children. It was not going to be anything huge because I was not thinking of sothing grand. I only wanted to spend so ti with my father so he would not feel left alone.
Since Kash had already made a plan with my family at the main mansion, we would have lunch there the next day.
I was not really planning to do much for the night. By the ti I had freshened up and stepped out, Kash told that he had asked the maids to prepare food for dinner. I did not expect that. Still, he must have heard talking to the kids throughout the day and had already texted the maids.
When we were about to leave, Kash made a comnt that I noticed, but I did not respond because I did not want to spoil the night.
"Make sure you’re not all friendly with Luca. I will not tolerate it anymore," Kash comnted before stepping ahead of .
