"Wait, what?" Iris asked, staring at Kash like he owed her an explanation.
Kash’s smirk faded and he growled, narrowing his eyes at .
"When did I say that to you?" he asked.
My jaw dropped again, but I quickly gathered myself and looked back at him.
"It was when you called my father and told him you wanted to get rid of this leech because you were done with her behavior," I replied, not holding back.
Iris picked up her children and stood up angrily. Kash tried to grab her arm, but she pulled herself free.
"Daddy, why would you say that?" Amy cried.
Then her children spoke up, which made clench my jaw and fists. Their mother had not taught them to stay quiet when elders were speaking.
I wanted to snap at them, but I was already overwheld with emotions and could not focus on them.
"Iris, wait," Kash said to her instead of explaining anything to .
"Wait? What do you an, Iris, wait? You need to answer first," I demanded.
He finally stood up and made sure he was facing directly.
"I never said that to your father. Your father is a liar," he snapped without any hesitation.
"Kash, is that true?" Zoe snapped at her brother in a way that did not feel like she was supporting .
Her tone was different from how she usually spoke whenever Iris was ntioned.
I knew that lately she had made it obvious that she and I were having trouble because I had been taunting her a lot.
But when she asked Kash that question with such desperation, I was taken aback until I rembered that she was seeing her own insecurities in Iris’s children.
"No, I did not. I’m telling you, her father lied to her," Kash replied.
He did not sound like he was joking. He looked confident and stern as he slipped his hands into his pockets and kept staring at without any sign of guilt.
"My father has no reason to lie to or give false hope. Kash, what is going on? Why are you taking your words back? Did she cry to you? Did she tell you sothing that made you stop and bring her back ho?" I asked, trying my best to make sense of it. Kash looked distant, and that made anxious.
"You want an answer? Fine, I’ll give it to you," Kash replied as he stepped away from .
I waited, confused, as he gestured for the warriors to carry my bags again.
"Wait, what is going on?" I asked.
He walked to the door and slamd it open, which made my jaw drop again. This ti, he did not give a chance to recover. He ca back, grabbed my arm, and pulled toward the exit.
"Get out," he said.
I smiled because I thought he might be joking. He would never treat like that. I was not Iris.
"What? Okay, fine, just stop it," I told him as I pulled his hand off my arm and placed my hand on his chest. "Is this a prank? Are you giving a surprise or sothing?"
His jaw tightened, and it did not look good. He looked angry and frightening.
"Zoe, would you be a dear little sister and bring Iris outside?" he told his sister. She jumped to her feet and followed his order without hesitation.
Hope began to rise in my chest again. Maybe he was finally going to tell it had all been a joke and that he was going to send Iris away instead.
I let out a deep breath and placed my hand on my chest.
"You scared for a while," I said, pouting at him and gently tapping his chest.
Every ti I tried to joke with him, he looked stern and frustrated. I did not like it, but for the mont, I kept quiet and let him handle everything.
Iris walked out and folded her arms across her chest, staring at Kash with anger. She acted like she was in charge and had the right to glare at the alpha king.
I folded my arms too and stood beside Kash, glaring at her with a smirk.
I was waiting for him to send her away and put her in her place so the confident look on her face would disappear.
"Everyone, I’m going to make a big announcent right now. It is sothing I have wanted to say for a while," Kash announced.
I pressed my lips together and bit the inside of my cheek to stop myself from smiling.
"From today onward, I will no longer have two luna queens, two mates, or two wives," Kash began.
I tilted my head and raised an eyebrow at Iris. Her arms slowly dropped from her chest. She looked anxious, even though she was trying not to show it.
"Brother, please don’t do this," Zoe whispered.
I clenched my jaw but took note of her reaction. She would be next.
I had seen her trying to ruin my plan by begging her brother to let Iris and her children stay, all because she believed Iris’s children could be hers.
She had made an enemy out of when she tried to stop Kash from sending his other woman away.
"Do it," Lady Vivian said confidently.
Kash nodded at his mother. Then, instead of turning to Iris, he turned to .
"Get the fuck out of here," he said again, even after I had made it clear that I did not like that joke.

"What? You an Iris? You want to kick Iris out?" I asked, still not understanding why he was having trouble saying her na.
"No, Lara. Get the fuck out of here. Do you not understand? You’re the one I’m rejecting," he said.

"I don’t understand. What are you trying to say?" I asked as I tried to step closer to him, but he stepped back so my hand would not touch him.
"Did you not hear what I said? Lara, get out of my ho. Iris is the only one I want, and you, I alpha king Kash reject—-"
