Aria’s POV
The words sliced cleanly through the waiting area.
Heads turned...ears pricked....eyes sharpened with interest.
I lifted a brow, already tired. Ah. So this is the performance she chose today.
Whispers rippled through the crowd...werewolves from different packs in the country.
“Was the sister caught cheating by the righteous one?” soone murmured.
“Wow... this is like a soap opera. Wait...don’t they look kind of familiar?” another whispered.
“Of course they do...She is Luna Aria, the ex convict married to Alpha Nathan of the Ironclaw Pack” one said.
“That’s right...she was also revealed as Selina, the top designer for Celestyr brand few days ago.” Another added.

“If you’re so worried about your Nathan and if our marriage ends because of your rumors, would you be happier marrying him yourself?”

The crowd went still for half a second, then erupted in barely contained excitent.

Williams, still chewing on his candy, looked downright delighted.
As if to say...Was this really Aria?
The Aria he rembered had been cool, gentle and quiet, just like southern mist.
But that has changed.

Jonathan’s smile didn’t change.
But the temperature around him did.
Williams felt it instantly, a cold prickle down his spine, the instinctive warning that ca from standing too close to a high-ranking predator.
“I heard Somberland has so new mines,” Jonathan said mildly. “Aren’t you into jewelry design?”
Williams’s face fell.
He knew it was ti to keep shut. His brother called the shots. He wouldn’t want to be sent to a far away country to mine as a result of making jest of his brother.
“You are just sharp-tongued Aria!” Jessica snapped, yanking Sophia behind her, fury written all over her face as she prepared to retaliate. But Sophia tugged at her sleeve, desperate.
“Sophia, you’re too kind...” Jessica began.
Then she stopped.
The air dropped suddenly, it beca violently cold.
Jessica’s breath caught.
Behind her, a tall figure in a black suit stepped forward, his presence descending like a thunderstorm.
My wolf froze as his scent reached .
His low, dangerous voice followed.
“Ten flings?”
My shock lted into a frown.
My eyes darted to him but I refused to et his gaze. My brows knit together in mild disbelief.
What is he doing here?
I refused to engage him. Instead, I turned sharply to Alpha Jonathan, forcing my voice to stay steady. “Let’s go.”
Jonathan answered with the sa calm smile he always wore, as if he couldn’t feel the storm crashing around us. But the mont I took a step forward, everything changed.
A hard grip closed around my wrist.
My wolf snarled instantly, rage flaring hot beneath my skin. I twisted, trying to yank myself free, my glare snapping up to him. “Let go!”

My wolf pressed hard against my ribs, uneasy, torn between submission and defiance. Danger, she whispered.
His lips curved into a cold, humorless smirk. “Aria,” he said slowly, his voice low and edged with sothing wild, “I’m not dead yet.”
The bond pulsed painfully at his words, but I shoved it down. “If you’re not dead,” I shot back, “then we can get a divorce.”
I turned away, refusing to let him see the crack in my resolve. The word divorce had barely left my mouth when his grip tightened, the pressure enough to make my wrist throb.
My wolf howled in protest.
Jonathan’s smile vanished. His gaze locked onto Nathan’s hand around my wrist, and he stepped forward without hesitation, placing a firm hand on Nathan’s arm.
His voice was calm, but his alpha energy flared protectively.
“You’re hurting her.”
