Madison. Of course. The woman had practically helped raise Seraphine.

She had been trusted with her for years. If anyone knew what had happened during the period surrounding her lost mories, it would be Madison.

A thoughtful look settled over Voren’s face as a new possibility began forming in his mind. Madison was entrusted with Seraphine, so she should know what happened to her mory, right?

"I think I need to speak with them," Voren said as he carefully unplugged one of the cables and set it aside, his mind already racing ahead with possibilities.

"If anyone knows sothing about that spell or what really happened to her mories, it would be Madison and Einstein. They’ve been around Sera for years, so they might rember details that everyone else completely overlooked."

His expression turned thoughtful as he continued. "Make sure they’re invited. Even if this wedding ends up being small, it should still be filled with the people who genuinely care about her."

"Don’t worry about any of that," Corvine replied, waving him off before dropping another monitor into a box. A grin spread across his face. "Just leave it to . And one more thing, Sera loves kids, Voren. I seriously hope you give her a whole house full of them."

The image instantly brought a warm smile to Voren’s face. For the first ti in a long while, thinking about the future didn’t feel heavy or complicated. It felt full of real hope.

"You don’t have to worry about that," Voren said with a soft laugh. "To be honest, I’ve already been thinking about it. If things get complicated with Bryan’s situation, I wouldn’t mind adopting him."

His gaze lowered slightly. "Of course, that depends entirely on what Seraphine wants. Nothing like that happens unless she’s completely comfortable with it."

Corvine nodded approvingly. That answer sounded exactly like sothing Sera would want to hear.

The two n kept working, carrying equipnt out of Seraphine’s room piece by piece. What started as moving just a few items quickly turned into transporting what looked like an entire technology center. Boxes filled with hardware soon lined the hallway while monitors, cables, processors, and all kinds of other equipnt seed to appear from every corner of the room.

Corvine wiped his forehead with the back of his hand. "I swear your future wife was secretly running a governnt agency from this room."

Voren chuckled. "She practically was."

Despite the late hour, neither of them complained. Every item they moved felt like another step toward building the life they both wanted together.

As they carried another monitor downstairs, Voren glanced over at Corvine. "And by the way, my ho is your ho now." If they were to live at the pack, then Corvine would be living with them too.

When Corvine looked up, Voren continued with complete sincerity. "I an it. Co over whenever you want, day or night. Stay over if you need to. You and Sera can even leave for work together every morning."

A teasing smile appeared on his face. "I’ll be the one picking her up from the hospital anyway."

Corvine laughed. His parents adored each other to an almost ridiculous degree, and the older they got, the more inseparable they beca. Truthfully, they barely even noticed when he wasn’t ho. "I should probably pack a few clothes then."

"Probably," Voren smirked.

They finished loading the last of the equipnt before Corvine quickly went back to grab a few personal essentials. By the ti they finally arrived at Voren’s mansion, exhaustion had settled deep into their bones.

The digital clock near the entrance showed 2:00 a.m., and the entire house was wrapped in silence.

Voren narrowed his eyes the second they stepped through the doors. "Corvine." The warning tone in his voice imdiately made Corvine grin. "If you wake her up, I will kill you."

A laugh burst out of Corvine before he could stop it. "You should’ve thought about that before making this arrangent around this hour."

He moved the monitor in his hands. "But let’s be honest, you couldn’t stay away from her, could you?" The amusent in his eyes grew brighter. "I don’t bla you. If the woman I loved gave even half the opportunity Sera gave you, I’d probably be way worse."

The words carried more truth than humor. For a brief mont, sadness flickered across Voren’s face. Corvine deserved happiness too.

Their stories were connected in more ways than most people realized. Both of them had loved deeply, and both had suffered.

The only real difference was that Voren had finally found his way back to the woman he loved. Soday, Corvine would find his own happiness too. At least Voren hoped so.

The thought stayed with him as they carried the equipnt upstairs. Halfway through the process, the sound of a door opening drew their attention. A woman stepped into the hallway.

Jasmine blinked at the sight before her. The two n were carrying enough technology to open a small office. "Do you need help?"

Corvine glanced toward her. The bright red hair imdiately gave away her identity. "You must be Jasmine."

Surprise flashed across her face. "I am." Her brows furrowed. "But how do you know that?" Her gaze traveled toward Voren, and understanding slowly dawned on her. "He told you about ."

Corvine nodded. Before he could say anything more, Jasmine studied his face more carefully. Sothing about him felt strangely familiar, like she had seen him sowhere before. The feeling nagged at the back of her mind. "Actually, I’ve seen your face before too."

Corvine looked genuinely confused. "I don’t think we’ve t."

"No," Jasmine murmured. "Not in person." The mory remained frustratingly out of reach.

Corvine adjusted the monitor in his hands. "Let’s figure that out later." He motioned toward the equipnt. "I need to get all this installed before Sera wakes up."

Without waiting for another response, he continued upstairs. Jasmine remained standing in the hallway, confusion swirling inside her. One thing bothered her more than anything else.

Corvine had casually called Seraphine by her na. Not only that, he spoke about her so comfortably, almost affectionately, as if they shared a close relationship. And sohow Voren wasn’t angry about it.

If anything, he seed completely at ease with the whole thing. That made no sense.

From everything Jasmine had witnessed, Voren practically worshipped the ground Seraphine walked on. The man was hopelessly in love. Most n would be jealous in a situation like this, yet Voren didn’t seem threatened at all. The situation puzzled her long after the two n disappeared upstairs.

Several minutes later, the answer suddenly hit her. Her eyes widened. The drawing. One of Marigold’s drawings. A man carrying a baby. The image flashed clearly through her mory. The resemblance was undeniable. That man looked exactly like Corvine.

The realization sent a chill through Jasmine. Unable to ignore her curiosity, she waited patiently throughout the rest of the night for the mansion to be quiet before slipping into Marigold’s room but she never expected being in the sa space alone with Seraphine so soon...
