The most reliable one is the Vampire Baron; its abnormal ability should be able to complent Andreg’s, but he no longer has any Dark Elent at hand.
As he pondered, a second had already passed.
He looked up and saw the Clockwork Man also watching him—the Angel has the ability to fly and can directly bypass the battlefield, but the Angel itself is too fragile, only a level 20 elite, not much use. Andreg and Lopar together facing one Demon might not even hold an advantage, the only advantage being the Wind Spirit Spider and Holy Sword’s firepower far exceeding that of the Nightmare Furnace Construct’s Duplicate Lightning Ball, but there are still the other two Demons to deal with. Even including himself in the calculation, there is no certainty of turning the tide—on the surface, Brand maintained his composure, but his thoughts were racing like lightning.
He saw no opportunity to win, but ti was running out.
"Whatever, let’s gamble," Brand raised the Earth Sword, took a deep breath, and roared: "Attack!"
A dazzling golden beam smashed into the Nightmare Furnace Creatures’ cluster, and at the sa ti, countless Lightning Balls exploded in mid-air. One after another, the Nightmare Furnace Constructs turned golden-red in the firelight, blew up, and then lted into puddles of molten iron. And in the sky, lightning arcs danced wildly as the Wind Spirit Spiders fell like rain.
Amidst this ’downpour,’ the Guardian of Defeat, Demons, and Brand’s Summons collided, a flash of golden light crossed the battlefield, and Brand linked the Side-by-Side Dash to Andreg and Lopar; the two of them crashed into a Demon, and the force from this card instantly beheaded the Demon.
anwhile, Brand faced his formidable opponent—the Abomination that had previously tangled with the Platinum Giant Dragon, wielding a giant sword with green flas, blocked him. This Demon had almost the power and level of the Platinum Angel. Its sweeping sword brought up a sharp and ear-piercing wind sound. Brand dared not go against it head-on, retreating to let the Illusion of the Wind Queen Nine Luminaries take the hit; the Illusion was swept away by the sword and vanished into the air, but the Abomination’s giant sword also paused for a mont. With combat experience that defied the odds, Brand seized this fleeting opportunity to activate the Charge Skill, stepping forward onto the sword blade, borrowing the force to flip over the Demon’s head from midair.
Brand quickly moved in mid-air; at the sa ti, three Illusions of the Wind Queen Nine Luminaries were ford, all inheriting Brand’s entire combat experience. As they rolled horizontally in the air, each thrust a sword towards the top of the Abomination’s head. But the Abomination, after all, was not inferior to Veronica’s level, emitting a violent roar and forcibly retrieving its giant sword, swinging it upwards. A series of crisp ’ding-ding-dang-dang’ sounds echoed as Brand’s Illusions were all knocked away and disappeared.
But by this ti, Brand had already reached its back; he raised the Earth Sword, roaring and striking at the Demon’s spine, which possessed the Steel Elent. The Elental Power ford a layer of tal-like protection on its surface, and even with the sharpness of the Earth Sword, it only made a sound resembling tal clashing, the Earth Sword bouncing off, leaving only a shallow white mark on its spine.
However, Brand’s attack was far from over; the Wind Queen Nine Luminaries continuously ford seven Phantoms. A series of ’clang, clang, clang, clang’ sounds linked together as the Seven Swords successively hit the sa spot, the final sword finally embedding into the Demon’s spine, spraying its unique blue-purple blood, and the monster let out a miserable scream.
"Scream all you want, back in the day I’d handle you with one sword strike each, didn’t expect it to be this troubleso now!" Brand couldn’t help but curse inside, for he found his sword embedded in the Demon’s spine and couldn’t pull it out montarily. By this ti, the second Demon had arrived, lifting its giant sword to stab at him.
"Lord!" Lopar reminded.
"Hm?" This was the inquiry from the Vampire Girl, asking if help was needed there.
"Don’t bother with , go take down that Clockwork creature!" Brand roared, drawing the attention of both Demons, creating the only chance. He didn’t release the sword hilt, stubbornly taking the blow from behind. With a ’puff’ sound, the Demon’s fla-engulfed giant sword almost pierced halfway into his body. "Aaaaaaaah!" At that mont, Brand felt his insides burning up. An Elental-level existence was terrifying; that one sword strike almost drained his life in an instant, the Unyielding Elent imdiately took over his body, turning his vision into a blood-red screen filled with low life warnings.
