Brand gritted his teeth and unleashed the Fury Skill with full force. The inherited power from the Dark Dragon burst out instantly, doubling the attribute and strength output. He howled as he pulled the Earth Sword from the demon’s back, its blade almost dripped with strands of blood and muscle tissue. Brand’s eyes were red, and with a reverse grip, he slashed with all his might. The demon behind him never dread that a re human’s combat style would be so ferocious; it was struck in the cheek by this sword, and the Puncture Skill exploded instantaneously — the Wind Queen Nine Luminaries delivered three consecutive blows, making the demon’s face seem like a smashed eggplant — it surely lacked the steel Elent.

The system prompt notified Brand that he gained 53,460 experience, which seed laughable now because Brand had no ti to care.

He vanquished his greatest threat with one strike, but was himself on the brink of collapse, standing in the center of the battlefield like a bloody man. Holding the Earth Sword in one hand, he took out a bottle of No. 7 Holy Water and drank it down. The Holy Water could heal wounds, but could not recuperate the weakness from excessive blood loss. Brand breathed heavily, watching as another demon turned towards him.

Both were injured, both were in a fury state.

But Brand did not lose his sanity; he slowly retreated, trying to distance himself from the demon. anwhile, his attention was fixed on Andreg and Lopar, who had already approached the clockwork monster, victory seed imminent. Yet unexpectedly, as the clockwork man’s hand flashed with black light, another demon entered the field — looking identical to the one Brand just killed.

This guy could retrieve from the grave!

Brand’s last hope turned into despair; he had played all his cards, but was still one move short. At this point, he could only make the final effort without leaving regrets and it would be an explanation to that Deer Demon Sister. Truth be told, he harbored little animosity towards the clockwork man now; at least the opponent’s persistence had earned his respect. He was simply outmatched, and there was no one else to bla.

What’s left is the final struggle.

Brand did not want to leave regrets. He glanced at his hand cards, now only Vampire Baron, Secret Rune Summoner, Silver Colt, and Golden Radiance Battle Banner remained. The Vampire Baron couldn’t be summoned, the Secret Rune Summoner was too low level, the Silver Colt was of no use. But he was slightly stunned when he saw the Golden Radiance Battle Banner. Thinking back, he suddenly realized that this card had been with him for quite so ti.

Was this one of the cards Tu n handed him? He had used most of the cards in that set, but it was ridiculous that he had never used this card. Because this card was simply too worthless, requiring 5 Light Elents yet only capable of upgrading all summons on the field by one level.

One level — what’s the point? Almost like no upgrade at all; and 5 Light Elents, an expensive expenditure for him, as his Land Cards could provide few Light Elents.

Normally, Brand barely paid any attention to this card. But a careful look at the card this ti left him stunned for the first ti. Because he noticed the card’s number was ’City Alliance I,’ and Brand now understood that any card numbered as first in a set was always the core card.

"This card is a core card?"

Brand believed sothing must be wrong. How could a card that upgrades by one level be a core card? He couldn’t help but ponder that the City Alliance deck itself seed scattered, like Rubis rcenaries, Prosperous Gold Mine, Side-by-Side Dash — none seed powerful. This deck couldn’t compare to adversarial sets like Adversity Heaven, and not even to Fla Tribe or Wonders of All Things.

He hesitated but ti was of the essence, leaving no room for further thought. Whether a core card or not, at least this card could raise all biological creatures on the field by one level — which was enough. Brand just embraced an idea of not wanting regrets, he took out the card, preparing to display it.

And it was in that instant.

Opposite him, for the first ti, the clockwork man’s poker face changed.

He almost couldn’t believe his eyes looking at Brand, unable to hold the Bronze Staff in his hand, it crashed to the ground with a clang. "You...!" he roared unwillingly.

"?" Brand was startled, looking at the opponent with unwarranted grievance: "...What about ?"
