“What is happening…” Test, escaping death, bewilderedly held the longsword in his hands. From the previous vision, this should undoubtedly be the Lion Heart Sword, but why had it suddenly turned into stone? He clasped the longsword, feeling inexplicably that although it was clearly a piece of stone, there was a subtle resistance to him, as if the sword was in his hands yet not really there.

Test tightly grasped the stone-turned Lion Heart Sword, puzzled for a mont, but as he glanced around the area—behind the rocks, the forest was not expansive, and they had already ticulously searched every inch. There should be nothing else inside. With this in mind, the sword in his hand shouldn’t be a fake. Nonetheless, why it had turned this way still needed to be answered, but this wasn’t sothing he could figure out imdiately. After a brief mont of contemplation, he decided to first take this thing back out.

He couldn’t help but cautiously look back before leaving.

The Lake Knight should be hiding sowhere in the shadows of the forest, staring at him with cold eyes. However, the other party did not appear again, much to his relief. “This trip was truly unlucky…” Test couldn’t help but shake his head vigorously, avoiding the sight of the bodies strewn across the ground, and holding the longsword, he staggered out of the forest.

The buzzing stone tablet finally stopped in Brand’s hand. He had never encountered such a prolonged resonance of the Sage Stone Tablet before. In the dungeon, everyone stared motionlessly at the stone tablet with a mysterious rune in Brand’s hand, and only after it had stopped for a while did they shift their gazes back to Brand.

The dungeon fell silent, with occasional faint dripping sounds echoing in the distance.

“This is a bound Sage Stone Tablet, my Lord.” Although Bai Lu was a prisoner at the mont and temporarily a house servant of the Brand Family, he stood before the young lord with neither humility nor arrogance, seemingly to signify that his allegiance was transient. If given a chance, he might again return to the Royalist camp. Yet, surprisingly, Brand did not seem to mind this, which bewildered him—a feeling that perhaps it might be better if this young man locked him up again. But knowing the value of freedom made him greedy for more of it, and rely feeling the warmth of the torchlight outside made him thirst for more free air, ensuring he could no longer say such words.

Brand looked at the old man, seemingly reading these thoughts from his expressions, and nodded, “You know it?” he asked. Brand didn’t care about the old man’s attitude since he was not a noble himself. He had been a Great Commander of a guild but never a lord. Truth be told, even though he was in this position now, he had not adapted to it, sothing he hadn’t noticed himself. Yet, his attitude had instead garnered unanimous support from his followers, even though Antitina had her criticisms, she had to admit that Brand’s approachable deanor fostered a sense of unity in the group.

Moreover, the unwavering confidence emanating from the young man was enough to inspire loyalty in others.

Even a noble daughter couldn’t help occasionally wondering, perhaps this was what they called unique personal charm.

However, Brand’s curious gaze returned to Bai Lu. The Sage Stone Tablet was ntioned in the Cruz people’s creation myth “Poem of the Blue” and the mountain people’s “Wind’s Whistle” from ancient records. The Miner’s people and witches believed they were fragnts of stars fallen to earth, capable of connecting with the celestial lines of destiny. In fact, over the centuries, humans had learned much about the Sage Stone Tablet. Star Seers used it for divination—by linking the tablet to an object and predicting the object’s future course. The Stone Sages foretold the future similarly; place the Sage Stone Tablet on a Stone Sage, and you would receive the desired answers—so the folk legends went, and players had verified it in the ga’s past settings.

Yet, for this master craftsman to discern that he held a bound Sage Stone Tablet was remarkable. Not everyone understood rune magic, especially the ancient runes on the Sage Stone Tablet. As a craftsman of the Royal Family, his knowledge of various Divine Artifacts legends could be explained, but mastery of ancient runes was another matter. Even the craftsman wizards of Bujia were not all versed in rune magic. Therefore, Brand looked at him, considering it possible that the master might just be guessing, and asked, “Indeed, but master, can you tell what this tablet points to?”

Brand was asking a bit too much, as he himself had no idea what those strange symbols on the tablet ant, though he guessed it was surely related to the Lion Heart Sword.

“That is…” Bai Lu suddenly paused, his expression grew serious. Brand soon saw the master craftsman staring at the stone tablet in his hands, his own hands trembling uncontrollably, “Saint, King’s Emblem, Heroic, Justice, and rcy, how could it be…” He took a shallow breath and looked again, his face more solemn each ti. Finally, he couldn’t hold back, stepping back in disbelief and looking up at Brand, tentatively asked, “Lion Heart Sword?”

Brand’s expression quickly changed to one of greater surprise.

Even Qian let out a low cry, though she did not know what the Sage Stone Tablet was or recognize rune magic. As a citizen of Erune, the story she had heard since childhood was the famous tale of the Benevolent King Eck and his Lion Heart Sword. She imdiately turned her head to confirm her guess on the young man’s face but heard Brand suddenly ask:

“How do you know?”
