The interwoven beams of light blocked the path of the giant dragon diving towards Brand, causing the beast to halt in mid-air—at that mont, it was as if even the flowing wind temporarily ceased, falling into a sudden stillness.
The web of light beca increasingly brighter, to the point that neither the Wind Dragon Adela nor Brand could see each other through the dazzling light. The beast flapped its wings but couldn't advance any further, while Brand took the opportunity to catch his breath. He first checked his Elent Pool—only 2 points of Earth Elent remained.
He imdiately patted the neck of the Silver War Steed, commanding it to dive beyond the light web, while another Destiny Card appeared in the young man's hand.
The Wind Dragon on the other side of the light web didn't notice Brand's actions. In fact, it had bigger problems to deal with; the sudden attack by the Wind Spirit Spider halted it in mid-air—but the cost of breaking its attack rhythm was fatal. Although it was just an instant, disha and her Royal Unicorn grasped the opportunity to catch up.
"Thousand Army Strike!" Clenching the silver long shuttle in her hand, disha thrust it forward. Despite her delicate fra, at that mont she exploded with terrifying power, her spear and steed together piercing forward with a silver line that split the sky.
The silver line pierced forward, instantly penetrating through the Wind Dragon Adela. The giant beast let out a howl that echoed throughout the Duel Arena. Although it tried to twist away from the incredible thrust at the last mont, the powerful suction created by the Silver Elf Princess's spear tip pulled it right back.
The spear first pierced through the outer layer of Magic Defense, then through the sharp air currents, finally shattering the cyan-blue scales and driving straight into Adela's spine. Blue blood exploded in mid-air, raining down like a shower before evaporating halfway, forming patches of light blue clouds in the air.
This is a prominent characteristic of Air Elent creatures; composed of Wind Elents, they disintegrate and revert to their free state, returning to the world.
The intense pain nearly caused Adela to lose consciousness briefly. The Thousand Army Strike is an ancient Elf Battle Technique known for its slow release but imnse power. Despite the two-tier difference between disha and Wind Dragon Adela, the forr's single strike inflicted severe damage on the latter.
The giant beast began to fall, while Brand and the Silver War Steed passed through the pale blue clouds from the sa direction. He looked up at the falling Wind Dragon Adela and raised his card high: "Reveal!" he shouted.
The card in his hand depicted a charging cavalry, and as Brand released it, it followed the air currents and flew upwards, emitting a dazzling light:
"Destiny Card—Side-by-Side Dash enters the field, the Travel Mage pays 2 Earth Elent."
"Summoner and Card—Unicorn Knight gains Link Ability, Power Sharing, Damage Division."
At that mont, Brand felt his power surge, instantly doubling. He activated the Ghost Knight Crystal and Power Burst, pushing the exchange ratio of stamina and burst power output to the highest point in an instant, and then he swung his sword upwards.
An apparently simple sword strike—the White Crow Swordsmanship's Wind Blade detached from the sword and shot forth in an instant.
As the wind pressure compressed the air into a sharp stream, the twisted air currents bent the light into a nearly thirty-ter vertical arc in the sky. The arc expanded rapidly, and half of the sky was engulfed under a crack stretching hundreds of ters long.
The slightly shimring silver sword light cut across the sky, with ti seemingly pausing for a mont. In the eyes of those watching, it was a sword strike that tore through space itself.
"Middle Gold!"
At that mont, the elder stood as still as a statue, not knowing what kind of 'demon art' Brand had unleashed, but the scene of the young man's power surging to Middle Gold within monts was undeniably real before his eyes.
Even in the entire world of Vorn, such a sudden breakthrough, akin to an epiphany, was rare. At that mont, Brand inevitably reminded Kulan of those few with the rare Golden Bloodline.
He couldn't help but wonder if the stubborn Tobus family had co from an ancient lineage.
But regardless of his thoughts, the sword light moved forward, rcilessly severing Wind Dragon Adela's wings. Blue blood rained from the sky again, and without its wings, the Wind Dragon was no longer the master of the skies, falling like a plucked goose.
Finally, with a loud crash, it landed heavily in the center of the Duel Arena, kicking up a cloud of dust.
Everyone felt the ground shake slightly.
But no one uttered a word because, including Qian and Yuta, everyone was stunned. Not only did the battle's intensity far exceed their expectations, but even the speed at which it unfolded was beyond their imagination. From the mont the Wind Dragon took to the skies to when it was besieged by Brand and disha, not even half a minute had passed.
It took a while for the young miners to let out a heavy breath. After the battle ended, a strange silence filled the Duel Arena. On one hand, they subconsciously replayed the previous fight in their minds, but on the other hand, they also hoped that Brand would help them.
But they were disappointed.
Brand didn't glance at them at all; he was drawing a card. This ti, the young man got what he wished for, and after the erald text on his retina disappeared, a grey card landed in his hand.
'Gem Plain'
Brand clenched his fist around the card, feeling entirely content. He looked down at the arena and said:
"Prepare for the final challenge, disha."
"Yes, my Lord."
The Silver Elf girl approached, lowered her head, and responded softly.
The next battle would be a field battle, but Brand, well-aware of all the Fate Arena rules, pondered.
