With Yuta still at the Shafelund Mine, no one had yet brought news of the underground events. However, everyone in the castle knew that Brand had silently taken control of the mine with only over twenty n.
What a masterful tactic!
Though the young lord's abilities were already known, this feat once again reinforced his omnipotent image.
When Brand opened the carriage door, he saw the castle, still cloaked in silence and greenery even in late autumn. The first owner had carefully selected tree species to ensure the castle remained lush at this ti of year. Not much had changed since he left. The only notable change was the removal of many of Gruding's personal touches; the curtains had been uniformly changed to the beige he liked.
Brand didn't know how Furlo had learned his preferences, but this ticulous arrangent from the older sister among the Wild Elf sisters who followed him like a secretary made him feel a slight warmth in his heart.
If anything had changed in the castle, it was that it now felt even more like ho.
The word "ho" felt distant and unfamiliar to Brand, as if it no longer had anything to do with him. The old house in Buqi was just a symbol in his mind, representing his starting point in this world, unrelated to a sense of ho.
Brand might have had a ho in Brags, but thinking of that place always left him with a sense of distance. He knew that as long as doubts lingered in his heart, he couldn't face it calmly.
But today, as he stepped out of the carriage, seeing every detail of the tranquil castle, he felt a sense of reassurance. Whether it was the greenery around, the bright and clean rooms, or the people standing nearby, everything exuded a comforting, settling quality.
It made him feel a sense of "coming ho."
Brand involuntarily closed his eyes and took a deep breath. Only at this mont did he truly feel he was the master of this place, including everyone watching him.

"How is it going?" Brand asked.
"Lord Char is still in the room," Furlo replied. Though a maid, Furlo uniquely possessed the strength of an Upper Silver tier. In fact, many dukes might not have the honor of having such a powerful personal maid—of course, excluding the shadow guards.
Using an Upper Silver Elental Mage as a maid astonished many in the know. Fortunately, Hu Que's n hadn't revealed their strength yet. Otherwise, the rcenary group leaders Crenxia and Fern, who had been with them for a month, would have been greatly shocked.
The Rubis rcenaries' strength boost ca from Brand recently attaching the Myriad Forest card to their deck. The effect of Myriad Forest was slightly less than expected, only elevating the Rubis rcenaries to the Upper Silver tier.
