The long corridor leads to the room on the southwestern side of the castle; Char placed Qian there. The main color tone of the room is pale green, and from the window, one can see branches of an ancient red tree — in the distance is Tonyger's landscape — shades of the Black Forest and mountain peaks like shadows hanging down from the clouds.

When Furlo led Brand to arrive, the young wizard had already learned that his master had returned to the castle and was waiting outside the door.

"How is it?" The first words Brand said upon seeing Char.

"Not good," Char replied, "Miss Roman, Antitina, and disha are all inside—"

Brand nodded and silently pushed the door open. Qian's room was not a critical care ward, at least the young man did not sll a strong dicinal odor imdiately upon opening the door. Instead, the room had a sowhat light and breezy atmosphere. As he pushed the door, he saw the curtain opposite gently rise, revealing a corner of Fir Castle behind it.

Brand's entrance brought a light breeze into the room.

The breeze lifted the layers of curtains around the central princess bed. The bed's original owner was long forgotten, but now Qian lay there, concealed under light gauze, her face pale, eyes lightly closed.

It was the first ti Brand saw this girl with her ponytail loose; her soft red hair cascading down, covering part of her face, looking fragile and delicate.

She was very quiet.

Not the usual kind of stubborn silence, but a true quietness, not uttering a single sound, as if imrsed in her dream. Unfortunately, Brand knew it must be a nightmare; otherwise, the girl wouldn't be frowning slightly, showing a painful expression.

When disha and Antitina saw Brand coming in, they stood up simultaneously. The Silver Elf Princess nodded slightly, while Antitina remained motionless, looking at the young man with a hint of worry in her eyes.

Although she wasn't precisely clear about what happened underground in Shafelund, Qian's condition was definitely not optimistic. She had asked Char about the situation in advance, but the young wizard only told her — everything waits for Lord to return and handle.

This made her heart sink.

She was a simple girl, though she always tried to remain extrely calm inside, so she could beco a competent staff. But just like that ti in the Chongshan mountains, this noble daughter blad herself and shed tears for the 'death' of her Wild Elf sister; she didn't really wish for any mber of this collective to et with an accident.

Although Antitina knew this thought was immature, even sowhat absurd. Since ancient tis, countless bones lie along the path to success; there is no bloodless conflict among nobles, but she still wasn't willing to give up this bit.

Calm but not cold-blooded, this was what Brand taught her.

"Lord." The noble daughter asked quietly.

Brand nodded, but he imdiately noticed a small figure lying on the other side of the bed, sleeping soundly. Miss rchant was apparently unaware of the surrounding changes, even resulting in a strand of glistening drool dripping onto Qian's blanket.

Brand saw the girl's brows moving vividly in her sleep, her little eyebrows constantly lifting; he knew she was probably cutting through obstacles in her dream, perhaps taking Qian through heavy encirclent — of course, this was only in her imagination, and it was of no help to the red-haired girl at this mont.

But the young man knew Roman's intentions were extrely simple, her actions usually untainted by any semblance of ulterior motives — apart from business dealings.

Therefore, he raised his eyebrows, not feeling like blaming her. Brand walked to Qian's bed, turned his head, and asked:

"What is she doing?"

"Telling stories to Qian," disha answered.

"Telling stories?"

"Miss Roman said, when she was sick as a child, her aunt would tell her stories. After listening to the stories, her illness would get better." The Silver Elf Girl quietly added.

"And then?"

Seeing disha and the noble daughter smile slightly, Brand knew this guy was likely doing useless things again. If Roman's aunt was a witch, she surely used Word Spirit Technique, as Holy Word Magic is one of many spells among witches.

But this thing couldn't be learned rely by imitation, though Roman clearly wouldn't realize this.
