Stone Key.
Legend has it that it's used to open the portal between the Earth Elent Plane and the Vorn World.
In the Amber Sword, its other purpose is to serve as a tool for establishing cities in the wilderness. This item and the Torch are twins, with the Torch representing the rules of Order, and the Stone Key being the foundation built upon the elents.
This was a law established by Lord Martha at the dawn of the World, using laws to constrain magic power and elents to construct the World.
This item is imnsely valuable in the ga, and it's even more rare, as it is seldom traded. It is essential for most advanced quests related to the domain of Earth.
For instance, in Brand's hand, it is the key item for the upgrade quest of Earth Sword Halangea. When the young man saw the shield-shaped stone in the box, his eyelid couldn't help but twitch, and a single voice echoed repeatedly in his mind:
Search high and low with no success, find it without any effort.
"Kid, you're really lucky—" Otarais seed to sense Brand's emotional fluctuation and awakened from a deep slumber.
Brand nodded, but remained expressionless, and asked, "What is this?"
"This is the Stone Key," the centaur shopkeeper replied. "Legend says it can open the portal connecting our world to another world—"
Brand pretended to be impatient and interrupted him, "Another world portal? What's in that world?"
"Uh..." The centaur shopkeeper was at a loss for words, as he had only heard this tale from the witch who traded him for his best Tree Gem.
"I've heard it might be an Earth Elent Plane?" he carefully responded.
"Earth Elent Plane?" Brand was puzzled, his expression pure: "What would I do there?"
"Kid," Otarais couldn't help but shake his head in Brand's mind, "Your feigning is just like Elrant—"
"She would definitely like you if she saw you."
"Elrant, Lord Sage?" Brand asked in his mind.
"Yes, we..." Otarais lightly coughed, "Among the four — Ghert, Fanzan, Holy Orso and Elrant — Elrant is the oldest. When they adventured together in their youth, she was usually the one dealing with employers and rchants."
"So, she was the squad leader."
"More or less."
While Brand and Otarais were conversing, the centaur shopkeeper was clearly in a dilemma, as Brand didn't seem as interested in this item as he had been with the previous two rings, leaving him a bit frustrated.
"Sir, that witch told that this item is incredibly beneficial to Elental Mages."
Brand thought to himself that this was quite true. Directly using the Stone Key to open the Earth Elent portal could expand an Elental Mage's Earth Elent Pool a hundredfold within the re twenty seconds the portal remains open, allowing them to cast two to three dozen Earth spells, all perfectly supported by the Elental Channel.
In that state, as long as they have mana support, they would be like Superman.
However, using a core item worth tens of millions of Tuo as a one-ti consumable item made Brand wonder just how wealthy one had to be, a level of wealth he had never encountered.
Yet, he glanced at the centaur shopkeeper, thinking that at least the shopkeeper's words were impressive. He secretly chuckled while pretending to be slightly tempted: "Is that so? Then how much is this worth?"
The centaur shopkeeper was considering whether to charge a high price and acquire the Fla Pattern Agate in Brand's hand, which was almost worth half of his shop, but he was worried that such an offer might make Brand walk away.
But just as he hesitated, a hand suddenly reached out from the side and grabbed the Stone Key.
"Boss, I'll take this item," said the owner of the voice, gently tossing a Fla Pattern Agate.
But how could Brand let the prize slip away? As the owner's hand barely touched the shield-shaped stone tablet, Brand's hand had already shot out a bolt of lightning, knocking the stone tablet out of the box.
He then reached forward with his right hand, attempting to grab the Stone Key in mid-air, but the owner of the voice was not easy to deal with either. "Damn, an Elental Mage!" The opponent lightly snorted, suddenly drawing a sword to strike the Stone Key away first.
