After the Stone Key was knocked away, it flew into the Centaur Shop, hit a wooden shelf, then bounced up and headed toward the two of them. The person imdiately wanted to grab it back, but before she could make a move, the Stone Key suddenly paused in mid-air, as if it had hit a mass of cotton, and was lifted by a whirlwind towards Brand.

"Wind Binding Spell, Dual-elental user!" The person stomped her foot, abandoning the idea of directly snatching the Stone Key, and instead lunged with a sword at Brand.

However, seeing that his opponent had turned to attack him, Brand was not alard but rather delighted, because before she could make a move, vines suddenly sprang up from all directions and tightly bound her.

This was the Barrier Spell of the Druids—

With a clang, even the young lady's sword fell to the ground.

"Ouch, it hurts..." She squinted her eyes.

Only now did Brand have ti to take a good look at this adversary who had appeared halfway through the battle. He was slightly taken aback because she was neither a Tanians nor a Tree Elf, but an authentic Cruz person.

Just by looking at her golden hair and erald-like icy green eyes, such obvious features allowed the young lord to identify her as a noble of the Cruz Empire—a descendant of the first followers of the King of Flas, an heir of the Eagle Knights.

However, this young lady, dressed in a white princess gown, long black leather boots, and her long, wavy hair styled into two especially luxurious curled ponytails on either side of her head, was thrashing about among the vines but glared at him resentfully—only left Brand with one phrase in his mind.

Golden twin-tails!

But having the courage to act on Druid territory, such boldness!

"You, you shaless!" The girl raised her eyebrows sharply and glared at Brand, "How could you seize sothing from a lady!"

"Wait," Brand hurriedly interrupted her, "Since when did this thing beco yours?"

"I, I paid for it!" The girl was montarily speechless but then asserted boldly, "Give it back to , you vile hillbilly!"

Brand glanced at the Fla Pattern Agate and replied, "Miss, you paid, but did the owner accept it? Forced buying is just as dishonorable as forced selling."

"You—!"

The young girl was so angry that her small chest heaved up and down, but now her hands and feet were bound, and she had no way to counterattack. Moreover, her companions had not yet joined her, so she couldn't help but look back, but her erald-like eyes imdiately lit up.

"Faina, what happened to you?" The first to rush over was a black-haired boy, dressed in a black trench coat unique to the Cruz Royal Alchemists, making Brand freeze in place—being a mber of the Cruz Royal Alchemist required at least a Level 10 alchemy skill, just how old was this guy?

Brand thought this little guy didn't look more than fifteen, genius or not!

But what Brand hadn't anticipated was that after checking his companion's condition, the boy imdiately looked up and said to him, "You hurt my companion, I challenge you to a duel!"

Then the boy looked up at the ancient tree above and shouted loudly, "Spirits above, I promise not to harm this gentleman's life, only to teach him a lesson; this is a dispute between us, and I hope no one else will interfere!"

As soon as he finished speaking, a green light flashed from the tree canopy.

"Agreed."

Brand saw that light and knew it was the Peace Barrier set by the Druids being lifted, and he swore in his heart, realizing he had encountered a seasoned expert. Moreover, the key point was that this expert was just a child.

However, before he could respond, Qian 'whoosh' leveled the Thunder Gun in front of Brand. The red-haired girl with a long ponytail coldly stared at the two opposite and said, "Lord, let replace you."

"Mountaineers?" The boy was slightly startled seeing Qian's red hair, "You're not locals?"

"They're Eruein people!" The noble girl called Faina imdiately snorted, "A bunch of vile hillbillies!" But she struggled, trying to free herself from the vines, but the more she resisted, the tighter they squeezed.

"Ugh, it hurts—"

"Faina, don't move, it's useless, it'll be over soon!" The boy looked at his companion and couldn't help but sigh. It seed the impulsiveness of this young lady troubled him greatly: "This is the effect of the Druids' Peace Barrier; who told you to be so reckless!"

"Darn, it's all these hillbillies' fault!" The noble girl tearfully said, "Luo Nuo, help teach them a lesson, let them know the might of the Cruz Empire is unchallengeable!"

Antitina couldn't help but furrow her brow hearing this sentence.

Brand listened to these two throw around 'hillbilly' so casually and felt a bit irked despite his usual good nature. He was already not fond of anything pertaining to the Cruz Empire, and hearing the final sentence, his brows finally arched in disbelief: "Well said."

The young lord gave a cold smile, "Good for you, 'the might of the Cruz Empire is unchallengeable'"

The boy once again raised his head; looking at Qian standing before Brand, he disdainfully said, "A man hiding behind a woman doesn't qualify to say such words to !"

Brand felt a nerve twitch in his scalp as he said to the red-haired girl, "Qian, this ti step aside, let witness just how invincible the so-called Cruz Empire really is."

He looked up, already seeing more knight-dressed individuals rushing over.

All Cruz people.

But strangely, why are they here?
