Now reading: Chapter 835 - 150: Qian's Mutation (2nd Update) from Amber Sword, a Game novel by Crimson Flame.

When Count Otin saw the bright red Fla Temple symbol beneath the robes of the uncovered corpses, his face involuntarily changed again.

The monks from the temple—of course, he recognized them. But so many had died; Martha above, he knew the strength of the temple best. He couldn't imagine what kind of enemy would force the monks from the Fla Temple to pay such a heavy price.

Count Otin's gaze continued to extend forward, "Grey Knights!" As he saw the bodies at Brand's feet, he was even more speechless with shock. This organization was at least of priest level, aning there was at least one official priest present in this temple's team?

Otin couldn't help but gasp for air; even with the support of an official priest, thirty monk soldiers had died, and Grey Knights too? What on earth did the temple's people encounter?

It is known that an official priest must at least have Enlightennt Elent. As a magic profession that has enlightened the elent, even against a Male Wolf, they should win steadily, right?

However, our Count soon had so peculiar associations, looking at Brand and oddly thinking, could it be that young man simply took out these temple monks?—After all, from his perspective now, there seed nothing that the lawless young Baron wouldn't dare do.

He even disregards the Cruz people, perhaps he really would do sothing this earth-shaking.

Count Otin also associated Brand's connection with Druids, and for a mont couldn't help but shiver and think, could these Druids be trying to open the curtain of a Holy War?

This high-ranking officer from the Northern Army swallowed hard.

However, what Brand said next dispelled the Count's doubts; naturally, Brand noticed Otin's arrival but didn't even glance at him, instead continuing through the forest, saying: "The real battle unfolded here."

He halted Qian and pointed into the woods, saying: "The battle ended in an instant when the enemy approached. Each person thought they had attacked, but their weapons were still in their hands, and the arrows hadn't left the string."

"Then the first group died." Brand bypassed a defensive line ford by ten monk soldiers, now all lying on the ground: "Death ca silently, like a breeze sweeping over their bodies."

He looked at the corpses of the ten monk soldiers, who all died at the sa mont.

He raised his head, and then this invisible enemy continued forward. The second group of monk soldiers attempted to distance themselves to buy ti, but still, they all fell simultaneously.

"The remaining ones seed to collapse; so started to run, which is why the bodies didn't form a perfect defensive circle in the end."

Brand answered, gazing around the entire forest: "From the monk soldiers' defense layout—this creature is very massive, yet it passed through the forest silently. It must have employed so illusion technique when it took these people's lives, leaving no signs of battle until death."

"But it's not ruled out that it created an illusion itself to mislead these people; however, in that case, the other temple mbers should not have escaped."

After speaking, Brand looked at Wade and Queniel, then glanced at Otin beside them.

His calm gaze made all three shiver, as though at this mont, a terrifying monster lurked in the forest, ready to hear their conversation and appear like a massive ghost.

All three were experienced warriors, yet this Black Forest was so strange that outsiders felt suffocated by its mystery, while those familiar with it could only see more unknowns.

Just, they couldn't imagine why that young man could stand before them indifferent and talk confidently.

"Have you heard of anything similar?" Brand looked back at the forest again. In fact, the current situation troubled him, not that he hadn't seen similar attack thods, but there were simply too many possible answers.

Besides, no one dared claim they had seen all the monsters in the barbaric lands.

Those creations born amid chaos and magic power, so were inherently illogical; perhaps this terrifying killer really was the breeze sweeping over the forest.

Or maybe—

To narrow down the scope of answers, one must look for answers from natives like Queniel and Wade, Brand thought if he approached this scenario with a task mindset, he first understood this point—there would not be a task that did not provide clues.
