Apocalypse: Transmigrated General's Daughter Uses Space to Survive Chapter 244: New Experience
Chu Hao knocked on the door, but after waiting two minutes without any response, he knocked again. After knocking for the second ti and still not getting any response after a few minutes, he had to take action differently. He knew that the people in the apartnts were not asleep and probably thought it was a neighbor causing trouble.
He used his spiritual energy to observe the two floors and found the whole family on the sixteenth floor, probably having so family ti since everyone was there.
As they were ignoring the knocks and pretending that they heard nothing, he had to use the ancient thods among cultivators.
He thought this might scare them, but he didn’t have a choice. Thus, while sitting together, Grandpa Li heard a voice in his ear, loud and clear.
"Grandpa Li, it’s Chu Hao, Grandpa sent here. Could you please send soone to open the door?" Chu Hao used as low and respectful a voice as possible so as not to scare the old man.
However, General Li was still shaken because that voice was very clear and didn’t sound like it had co from the door blocking the stairs of the fifteenth floor. That was basically being on the fourteenth floor.
How can the voice be so clear? Moreover, it didn’t sound like soone had shouted from the fourteenth floor, but rather as if soone was speaking beside his ear.
"Did any of you hear that voice?" Grandpa Li asked.
"What voice?" His eldest son asked.
"He said it was Chu Hao sent by his grandfather here." Grandpa Li explained what the voice had said.
"Grandpa, maybe you miss your friend and are hallucinating? After all, none of us heard anything." Grandpa Li’s first grandson, the soldier said.
General Li didn’t think he had reached a place where he would start hallucinating just because he missed his friend. It’s not like it was the first ti they hadn’t had communication for a while. Sotis, they even remained out of touch for months and he didn’t have such a reaction.
Was it because of the apocalypse? Just as he was wondering, the sa voice rang again. But this ti, it was throughout the room.
"Grandpa Li, can you hear ?" Chu Hao’s voice ca and was heard by everyone.
"Do you still think I am hallucinating?" Grandpa Li asked the other people in the room.
Like so robots synchronized to the sa frequency, everyone shook their heads. They had heard that voice loud and clear. Although, it sounded as if the person talking was in the room with them.
Back on the fourteenth floor, Chu Hao had just called for the second ti and Yin Wei finally couldn’t hold in his curiosity anymore. Chu Hao was calling for people on another floor with a voice that was only a little louder than a whisper.
Even the few of them standing next to him only heard what he said because the place was dead quiet and there weren’t any more confusing sounds. However, Chua Hao sohow expected people on either the fifteenth or the sixteenth floor to hear him? How was that possible?
"Brother Hao, if you call with such a low voice, how are they going to hear you?" Yin Wei asked.
The others were also curious about this. After all, they barely heard him. How could people on higher floors hear him?
"They heard . Trust , they will open the door soon." Chu Hao just replied with a mysterious expression and a smug smile.
He felt that cultivation was the best thing that had happened to him since he was born. It made things so convenient.
When the others heard him, they didn’t argue as they rembered his sister appearing out of thin air and even bullets disappearing. Therefore, they couldn’t rule out the possibility of sothing else bizarre being associated with mbers of the Chu family.
Just as they were thinking this, they heard footsteps on the other side of the door. Soone had really co to open the door. Qi Long and the other soldiers looked at each other in bewildernt.
How had anyone heard that whisper from so far away and even co to open the door? Was there really so divine power in this world? They now wanted to learn what secret techniques the Chu family had that set them apart from other people.
When the door opened, Li Kian, Grandpa Li’s grandson, stood on the other side. He was also holding a flashlight, and one could see another silhouette behind him. Chu Hao used spiritual power in his eyes to look and found a slim girl looking at him with curiosity.
"Hi, Li Kian." Chu Hao greeted the soldier who could be considered a friend since they had interacted since childhood.
"Hey Chu Hao. Co on in." Li Kian, after making sure that the person at the door was indeed Chu Hao, made way for him and his friends.
Chu Hao had not been wearing a raincoat throughout their journey there but he wasn’t wet at all. The other soldiers had been wearing waterproof raincoats on top of their camouflage uniforms, which they had removed as soon as they had walked into the building.
When the soldiers saw Li Kian, they imdiately dropped the raincoats they were holding in their hands and saluted.
They recognized him as one of the rising elite soldiers in the country. Thus, they had to show him due respect.
Li Kian had not expected to find a few soldiers accompanying Chu Hao. He also saluted the soldiers and invited all of them to walk through the door before he locked it again.
He led them back to the sixteenth floor where everyone else was waiting. Li Pan followed at the back, still eyeing Chu Hao curiously.
She was wondering how he had managed to make his voice sound as if he were in the room when he called her grandfather when he was obviously so far away.
