As they started to talk, the eldest daughter-in-law of the Li family brought a thermos with hot water to the table and tea cups to brew so tea for the guests.

They had still not finished preparing dinner, thus, they could only serve tea.

While taking a sip of his tea, Chu Hao explained the purpose of his visit. After everyone in the Li family heard his mission, they were both touched and grateful. In the apocalypse world, it was not easy to see a friend who still cared so much about them that they would brave the rain to bring them supplies to ensure that they had a balanced diet.

They had witnessed how so people they considered friends before had changed and even cut off communication because they thought that they were going to ask for sothing when they called.

Now that they could not even call, it was even worse. When they had started training after General Chu had told them off, they had t a few people they considered good friends, but the response of the other party told them that things had changed, and friendship did not last past the challenges of life and death.

Therefore, the fact that the Chu family, being in a better position than they were, took the initiative to co looking for them spoke volus about how much the friendship between the two families weighed.

As Chu Hao finished explaining his purpose for the visit, he started removing things from the space ring and soon a small hill of supplies lay there.

When Li Pan saw the boxes of candy and chocolates, she felt as if the world had beco much brighter. Even though they had gone out to look for supplies before, they had never found a place with chocolates she liked. So, she had been making do with what was found and was actually thankful for it because she had also found out that so families were starving to death.

A family on the third floor of their building had died of thirst and starvation. It was almost an unimaginable thing but it had indeed happened.

People had only realized that the family was gone when they didn’t move after the third floor started to flood. Their family had to take the job of disposing of the bodies by burning them.

They couldn’t even disinfect the place because water had already flooded it.

Now, Li Pan felt emotional seeing her favorite snacks.

"You brought so many things. What about your family?" General Li’s eldest son asked as he looked at the supplies on the floor of the living room.

In the standards of what they could afford and eat before the apocalypse, maybe these supplies weren’t much, however, with the current situation, having so much food was a blessing.

"Don’t worry, we have enough. Grandpa was worried that you wouldn’t accept any more supplies and only let take one of a few types of common food. Otherwise, we could have filled a storeroom.

Grandpa also asked if brother Li Kian and the other would like to go for a supply run tomorrow. We brought back quite many soldiers who have joined our team. These are just so of them. The number is over a hundred, and even though we have enough supplies to feed them for a while, we have to replenish supplies before they beco too scarce.

So, we were thinking of going to look for supplies tomorrow before we stay indoors to cultivate and train until the rain is gone.

Grandpa thought your family might want to go with us if you don’t have anyone with a space superpower to enable you to bring back more supplies." Chu Hao explained what his family had talked about.

"That’s very thoughtful of that old friend of mine. Indeed, we don’t have anyone here with a space superpower and can only bring back supplies that can fit into a boat." General Li was thankful that he still had a friend who thought of him when he had so good things.

"But if you guys help us carry more supplies while you have so many people to feed all of a sudden, how are you going to carry enough supplies for your people?" Li Kian asked as he assud that Chu Hao should be the only one with a space superpower.

"Don’t worry about that, we will go together with Ye Xuan and Li Kun. Both have the space to carry a whole warehouse of supplies." Chu Hao could only reassure them this way as he still couldn’t talk of the space rings without divulging the issue of cultivation.

"You an you have three people with the space superpower in the sa building? How co we aren’t that lucky?" Grandpa Li’s other grandson asked when he heard Chu Hao’s statent.

"It’s a little complicated. We’ll talk about it later when we start building our base." Chu Hao replied as simply as he could.

"Alright, then. But how many people will go? We only have two motor boats." Grandpa Li said as he rembered their situation.

The two motorboats could only accommodate a few mbers of his family.
