Though Lei Qian tried his best to scare these people, they hadn’t given up yet. Maybe it was because they were used to Bai iyue using a knife or gun to scare them off—that they didn’t take Lei Qian seriously. To them, Lei Qian was still soone who could be talked to and reasoned with, unlike Bai iyue who would cut down their necks if they angered her.
Thus, they all kneeled on the ground and begged for food and water. One by one, they kowtowed in front of the electric door as if they knew that soone was watching them and cried for rcy. Their cries were so loud that the entire corridor, despite the sound poofing, was filled with their annoying cries.
Mother Bai stared at Bai Qingshi, who was standing at the back of the crowd and shouting at the top of his lungs. He was scolding Bai iyue for being unfilial and unruly. He said a lot of things about how Bai iyue was not only a slut who only knew how to rely on n but he also called her unfilial and heartless.
Though Yan Wanning never had any hope from her husband to begin with, she still felt her eyes turn red in anger and grief when she heard him scold Bai iyue like this. Tears as big as pearls started to fall from her eyes as she looked at the intercom and listened to the things that were coming out of her ex-husband’s mouth.

Bai Qingshi was not the only one who was yelling and shouting curse words. ng Anzhi was also among the survivors and was also pointing at the door and scolding ng Suisui and ng Qibao, who were standing outside and trying to stop the crowd from rushing in.
She called them ungrateful and selfish. All kinds of vulgar words ca out of her mouth as she cursed the two siblings. ng Qibao couldn’t hold back and fought with ng Anzhi but he was no match for a woman who was just like a shrew.
As for ng Suisui, she was a shy and introverted girl. She couldn’t say anything in face of ng Anzhi’s curses and silently shed tears. She had clearly asked ng Anzhi to co and help her in building the greenhouse with her and ng Qibao but the girl had refused.
She even called her naive and stupid for looking for a job in such conditions and wanted to wait for Bai Feng to return. Now that the man was missing and the promised supplies didn’t arrive, she was suddenly making ng Suisui the bad guy.
Wang Ba’s expression was mutinous and Wen Mian looked at the crowd with a hint of disgust in her eyes. She parted her lips and coldly scolded the crowd back.

"You jerks! You only know how to cry and beg! Why don’t you do sothing worthwhile instead of begging?" ng Qibao scread as he pointed at the crowd. His eyes were red as he could not listen to ng Anzhi scolding his sister anymore.
With a nerve pressing against the skin of his throat as if it were about to explode, he scolded ng Anzhi fiercely, "You took all our supplies and gave them to these people! What gratitude!? We have made up for all the grace that uncle and aunt showed us by starving for weeks and keeping you alive, ng Anzhi!"
"You are just trying to shirk responsibility!"
"Help, we haven’t eaten anything for weeks!"
"Aren’t you guys humans as well? You cannot be so inhuman towards us! Just give us so food; even a little bit would do; we will starve to death otherwise."

The crying, screaming and begging made Bai iyue annoyed. Her headache that had cald down after resting for a while started to throb once again. The more she listened to their begging, the more annoyed she beca, and in the end when Bai Qingshi started to drag her mother down along with her, nothing but anger remained.
She turned around on her feet and then headed towards the back of the corridor, where there was an ergency exit. She took out the card key that she always carried in her space pocket and opened the door before pulling it open.
"Where are you going?" Lei Qian was also keeping track of the situation. Because he was worried about Bai iyue, he asked Wan Guo Fu to connect his surveillance cara with the one in Bai iyue’s corridor. When he saw the woman walking towards the exit, he knew that sothing was cooking in her head.
And given the kind of person she was, he knew that it was nothing good!
Bai iyue paused and turned to look at Lei Qian. Though she was surprised by his sudden appearance, she had sothing else to do and didn’t waste her ti on useless pondering.
"Nothing; I am just going to deal with so bad things."

He was confused by what she was saying but Bai iyue didn’t explain.
She climbed down the stairs and rushed to the bottom floor, where the zombies were still active. She hacked and cut down the zombies before scooping out their nuclei and then chased them into a corner such that they were forced to go upstairs.
However, these zombies were not terrifying. One of them was a kid, while the other one was a cripple. Neither of them had any threatening points other than their sharp, jagged teeth.
"What are you trying to do?" Lei Qian saw Bai iyue chasing the two zombies upstairs and was stumped. He had helped her clear up the zombies on the floor, but now that she was scaring the two zombies to escape upstairs, he had no idea what she was trying to do.
