ng Qibao listened to Bai iyue. He raised his foot and then smashed it down heavily on the handle of the knife. There was an ugly crunching sound, and the skull of the zombie split open with a crack. But before he could take the nuclei out, he was stopped by Bai iyue.

"No," she said to him sternly. Tipping her head to his sister, she said to ng Qibao, "Let your sister do it. She can’t rely on you every ti, can she? There will be tis when you will not be by her side; who will help her then? The world is cruel, and people are cold. If she continues to live like this, then she will be killed sooner or later."

Bai iyue knew very well that it was ng Suisui’s kindness and lack of courage and daring that caused her to die in the last life. Even though the path that ng Qibao chose after that was not a good one, this man knew how to be cruel to himself and others.

There were many won that he hated and despised, but he still served them with a smile on his face, all for the sake of a few supplies. Compared to ng Suisui, ng Qibao had more potential. It was just that this potential was not trained the last ti.

Sothing she was going to do this ti around for sure.

Look, didn’t ng Qibao take the first step already?

ng Qibao hesitated, but he still stopped himself from helping his sister. Bai iyue was right. He couldn’t save his sister every ti; if she didn’t change, then how would they survive? Thus, he needed to give his sister so tough love.

ng Suisui also knew that Bai iyue was doing it for her own good. Though she hated that she had to face such a thing, she still gritted her teeth and closed her eyes before thrusting her head inside the cracked skull of the zombie.

"Urgh!" ng Suisui threw up her dinner as soon as her finger touched the slimy, slippery and squishy innards of the zombie’s skull. However, even though she was throwing up, her fingers didn’t stop, and she soon pulled out the crystal nuclei that were stuck inside the skull of the zombie.

Once she found the crystal nuclei, she pulled it out.

And even though ng Suisui was shivering like a leaf that was about to fall, Bai iyue still respected her. Because even if she looked weak and helpless. She was willing to face her fears. At least she took the first step forward.

She then turned to look at the survivors, who were now less than half, and sneered. Bai iyue said to them, "Even a weak and helpless woman like her has the ability to raise a knife and kill a zombie. But you all! Ptui!" She spat on the floor in disdain and continued, "You all are big and strong n. Except for begging, you cannot do anything! Do you think that we are still living in a society where you can march inside a shop and buy supplies with money? No!"

"Supplies are like a person’s life force now. Do you think that you can snatch soone’s life force by acting pitifully? No matter how much you cry and beg, no one will be willing to share their supplies with you at this ti unless you give sothing in exchange. That was how society was before the end of the world, and that is how it is going to be."

"If you want to lie down and cry, then you might as well strip your clothes and stand naked in front of soone who might be willing to buy you for a night in exchange for supplies. You can’t be a man anyway. As you refuse to pick up your weapons and fight, then you might as well beco whores who can be fucked for a piece of bread."

She then glanced at the won in the corner and sneered, "And not just n; the sa thing applies to even won. If you cannot fight, then be prepared to open your legs for n!"

"If you are going to throw your pride away, then throw it away completely!"

When Lei Qian heard Bai iyue’s words, he was quite surprised. He didn’t know that a woman as frail as Bai iyue could be this tough. He wasn’t the only one. His parents and Mother Bai were just as shocked by Bai iyue’s words.

It wasn’t because of what Bai iyue said. Though her words were coarse and harsh, it didn’t make them surprised. It was because of the aning of Bai iyue’s words. They all thought that the reason Bai iyue went out to clean zombies every night was because she liked hacking those monsters to death and collecting nuclei.

But from what she said, it seed like Bai iyue saw things much more clearly than they could. If they didn’t know how to fight and protect themselves, then how would they live in a world where no law existed?

And without killing zombies and hunting for supplies, how would they live their lives?

Without skills and courage, they could only lie down and sell their bodies for supplies.

A few won on the lower floor were already doing it.

After Bai iyue finished speaking, Lei Qian raised his hands and started clapping. He was applauding Bai iyue for her courage, and the sa went for ng Qibao and ng Suisui.

The two siblings had never faced zombies before, but they overca the fear in their hearts and the psychological barriers. As soone who killed the zombies for the first ti as well, Lei Qian knew how hard it was for a person to shake off the hesitation and accept the fact that the zombies were no longer humans.

Even he struggled the first ti he killed a zombie and had to face a lot of psychological struggle. He was a man who had faced all kinds of storms and still felt sick the first ti he killed a zombie. Compared to him, ng Suisui and ng Qibao did a much better job.
