On the other side, Dacheng was talking to Lu Yin. Because Lu Yu was staying at ho, Lu Yin couldn’t go with Lei Qian even if she wanted to. Dacheng, however, was going, and Lu Yin could only plead with him to take her along. There was no other choice; she couldn’t let Bai iyue and Lei Qian get any closer than they already were.
The two of them even slept together.
With how much Lei Qian liked Bai iyue, Lu Yin knew it was a matter of ti before the two of them grew close. She had to stop it from happening, or else, on whom would she rely? She had no skills, no strength and no superhuman ability.
When Dacheng heard her pleading, his ego was stroked, and he agreed to take Lu Yin with him. Only then did Lu Yin breathe a sigh of relief. As long as she was in the sa group as Lei Yan and Bai iyue, she could interfere with them as much as she wanted.
Everyone who wanted to participate in this hunt was done with their preparation.
Even Bai iyue finished her bathing and took so stead buns and dried jerky from the kitchen. Mother Bai wanted to hand an entire package to Bai iyue, but the latter refused; she had enough food stored in the space pocket and wouldn’t starve. As for the rest, if they wanted to follow her to the hunt, then they might as well hunt their supplies.

As soon as she climbed down the stairs and went to the garage with her two brothers, she saw Lei Qian dressed in a finely ironed white shirt, which was tucked inside the black pants with a dual shoulder gunholster.
"Yueyue!" Lei Qian was looking down at the map of the City Hospital with Yun Chuan and discussing the tactics when he saw Bai iyue. As soon as his gaze fell on the woman walking towards him with her brothers flanking her on both sides, his eyes lit up.
He rolled the map and walked over to Bai iyue before saying, "We were talking about how to enter the City Hospital. According to Yun Chuan, the front entrance must be surrounded by a zombie crowd. So we might as well look for a back entrance."
Bai iyue looked at the map that Lei Qian had procured and nodded. The city hospital was not a small county hospital. It was bigger with a bunch of facilities. If they were going to look for soone, then this map would co in handy.
She paused and turned to look at Director Feng, who was carrying a large machete in his hands. "In which departnt was your wife admitted, Director Feng?"
"In the cardiology departnt." Director Feng sighed and replied in a heavy voice.
He admitted his wife to the hospital just three weeks before the apocalypse broke; if he knew that this was going to happen, then he would have arranged for a team of experts instead of sending his wife to the hospital.
Bai iyue nodded as she walked towards the new car that she had taken from the showroom when she sensed soone following her from behind. She paused and turned to look at the man who was walking right behind her and narrowed her eyes. "And just what do you think you are doing?"
"I don’t know how to drive," replied Lei Qian without batting an eye as he lied.
Of course, Bai iyue knew that he was lying. She rolled her eyes and snorted before turning around on her feet and sliding into the driver’s seat. When Lei Qian saw that she didn’t stop him, he bead and got into the passenger’s seat.
When Lu Yin arrived, she saw Lu Qian sitting in Bai iyue’s car. She knew that she would not be allowed to sit in that car, not only because Bai iyue and her brothers disliked her but also because the rest of the space in the car was for supplies.
The rest of the cars were occupied by ng Suisui and ng Qibao, as well as Lei Qian’s team.
In the end, Lu Yin had no choice but to get in the small farr truck with Dacheng. Her nose was scrunched up in disgust as she could still sll the scent of pig manure that was coming from the back of the truck.
Though she wasn’t happy with the turn of events, she still had to lean over and talk with Dacheng. Even if the man was nothing but a puny farr, she still had to rely on him. As he awakened as a supernatural being, and she didn’t!
Even if Dacheng was not as skilled as Lei Qian, in the mont of danger, he could protect her life.
A group of four vehicles drove out of the building. Mother Bai, who was worried, watched the procession leave from the balcony that was now surrounded with the greenhouse panels and clasped her hands. She hoped and prayed that her children would return safely.
However, as soon as they drove out, the cold wind exploded against their faces, and Bai iyue had to close the windows. However, as soon as she closed the windows, the scent of a sharp perfu made her stomach churn.
She sniffed the air that was blowing out of the blower and then turned to look at the man beside her. "Are you wearing cologne?" and that too, such a sharp one?
"Ah, is there a problem?" The man asked innocently.
Is there a problem? Was there one?
Of course there was!
Bai iyue was so angry that her entire face turned red with anger. She, who was pregnant with their son, couldn’t even withstand the scent of incense that her mother lit in the house every morning, and this man wore such strong cologne.
Was there any justice in this world? Not only did she have to drive but also look around and kill zombies, rescue people and collect dicines, while this man dressed up and walked around like a Broadway model.
Who was the man in this relationship!?
