Bai iyue knew that it was impossible for her to die. That water snake was not her match and thus it was not a danger to her. But Bai iyue was not soone who would keep any dangers by her side. She was a pregnant woman; even the smallest thing could cause her great harm.
And even if she protects herself well, what about her son? What if Lu Yin tries to harm Cai Cai? Bai iyue had seen the ruthlessness of that woman and she knew that Lu Yin wouldn’t stop so easily.
That woman had ambitions but no ability to achieve those goals. People like her were the scariest, as they would do anything to get what they wanted.
She was not scared of Lu Yin. If she wanted, she could kill that girl with a flick of her fingers, but Bai iyue had no desire to create unnecessary enemies.
Her main goal was to keep her son safe and away from harm. She wanted Little Cai to live a life free of worries, not a life where they have to run around the world.
If she killed Lu Yin tonight, then Lu Yu would certainly never leave her alone, and Bai iyue had no idea what kind of attitude the Lei family had towards Lu Yin.

"You have not only let her hang around you but never said anything to clear your position and feelings, which has made that girl bold and audacious. If only you made your stance clear and stopped Lu Yin from living in her fantasies, she might have thought before doing and making such moves."
"But she knows that you and her brother will not bla her; that’s the reason why she is so bold and uncaring."
Who didn’t know how to play a few tricks? Lu Yin might be skilled but Bai iyue was even more skilled. She had fought with Bai Xue all her past life; if she couldn’t even deal with this little girl after all that experience, she might as well find a pond with toxic waste and jump right in.

Since then, Bai iyue swore that she would never keep her pain to herself. She would cry and she would make a fuss. Let everyone know what had hurt her.
After she finished speaking, she turned around on her feet and headed inside the car and locked it, not allowing Lei Qian to step inside.
When Lei Qian saw her actions, his face turned gloomy. Of course, he was not angry at Bai iyue but Lu Yin. He really couldn’t understand what he needed to say to that little girl for her to give up.
Though he indeed didn’t say it clearly, he had indirectly made it known to Lu Yin that he didn’t have any interest in her, but it seed like the girl didn’t understand; if she did, then why would she cause trouble for Bai iyue?
He finally heaved a sigh and knocked on the glass of the window; when it didn’t open, he waved the box of cherries that he had brought with him.
Only then did the window open partly and a hand stretched out to snatch the box away.
Seeing Bai iyue’s actions, Lei Qian chuckled a little but when he turned around and walked to the car that Lei Yan was driving, he could no longer laugh.
"Brother–Brother Lei."
Lu Yin had heard everything that Bai iyue said to Lei Qian. At first, she was amused when she heard Bai iyue’s words but when she heard what Bai iyue said after, she could no longer smile.
That woman was ruthless. Not only did she retreat in an attempt to advance, she even said things that Lu Yin knew would make things difficult for her.
"Lu Yin, have I ever treated you badly?" Lei Qian looked at the woman in front of him and didn’t know what to say to her. He had never differentiated between Lei Yan and Lu Yin. Because Lu Yin was Lu Yu’s sister, he had treated her better than the rest of the won, but it seed like his attitude had caused all kinds of ideas to pop inside Lu Yin’s head.
When Lu Yin saw the expression on Lei Qian’s face, she panicked; she knew that Bai iyue’s words had poked Lei Qian in the heart. She blinked her eyes and tears started to brim in those starry eyes. "Brother Lei, believe , Sister Bai misunderstood . I was really startled when I saw that snake…wuuuu— you know that I am scared of snakes."
