When Bai iyue cald down, she instinctively covered her belly and sighed in relief. Fortunately, fortunately, her son was fine. She then raised her head and looked at ng Guo, who was hugged by his mother and noticed the tears in his eyes.

As she spoke, Bai iyue rummaged in her backpack and then handed ng Guo a pack of dried jerky. "You can have this; eat it when you are hungry, alright?"
ng Guo nodded and thanked Bai iyue who rubbed his head. She then raised her head and looked at Jiang Haidai with a polite expression on her face and said to her, "I am sorry. It seems like I scared your son."
"No, it's okay." Jiang Haidai didn't take the incident to heart. She didn't see any malice in Bai iyue's actions just now and it was clear that she was truly scared. She eyed Bai iyue carefully and asked in a low voice, "Are you really alright?"
"I am fine." Bai iyue nodded. She then turned to look at the rest of the team and bowed her head apologetically, "I am sorry; it seems like I troubled you all."
"Humph, show off," Lu Yin snorted. She turned on her feet and walked away; unlike others, she didn't believe that there was anything wrong with Bai iyue. This woman must have pulled that stunt to grab the attention of Lei Qian.
Since Lu Yin had done the sa thing many tis, she thought that the others were the sa as well.
Yun Chuan glanced at Lu Yin's back with his lips twitching. He then turned to look at Bai iyue and said to her, "There is no need to apologize. We are a team, right? It's only right for us to support one another when we are in trouble."
"Yeah, don't think too much about it." Dacheng nodded and agreed with Yun Chuan. "It's the child's fault as well; he shouldn't have woken you up in such an abrupt manner; it must have scared you."
When Jiang Haidai heard Dacheng bla her son, she stiffened. With a turn of her head, she looked at the man with so dissatisfaction. Was this sothing a grown man should be saying? Her son was just three years old; how could he be blad for sothing like this? It wasn't as if ng Guo knew that Bai iyue was having a nightmare.
"It's not his fault," Bai iyue shook her head and didn't bla the child. After all, ng Guo didn't know anything better and it was her who scared the child.
Dacheng didn't respond and simply smiled at her. As for Jiang Haidai glaring at him, Dacheng didn't care about her. The woman was weaker than him and didn't have much presence in the team. In fact, even the fact whether this woman would stay in the team or not was yet to be decided.
If not for the child , Dacheng was sure that Bai iyue wouldn't have bothered to bring this woman to their team. A weak woman who relied on her child, why would he bother himself with her? The only thing he cared about was making Bai iyue happy. If this woman was happy, then Lei Qian would be happy, and if Lei Qian was satisfied with him, then his chance of getting close to the team mbers would also get higher.

"Are you really okay?" Bai Zhan asked his sister again, who nodded at him and replied, "It's nothing. I just rembered sothing that I didn't want to do."
As she finished speaking, she turned her head and looked outside the window. If possible, she wanted to forget the mories of the day when she found out that her son was gone forever.
The painful agony was sothing she never wanted to feel again.
Bai Zhan and Bai Jixuan looked at Bai iyue with an expression full of heartache. They then turned to look at Lei Qian and glared at him. There was only one thing that happened to their sister that could make her so scared that she cried.
Lei Qian rubbed the tip of his nose uncomfortably. He didn't think that it was because of him but since he was the criminal of the Bai family, he could only lower his head and apologise to Bai iyue.
"I am sorry," he lowered his head and apologised generously, which made Bai iyue turn and look at him with confusion in her eyes.
"Why are you apologising to ?" Bai iyue asked with a calm voice. Everything was fine so why was this man apologising to her out of nowhere?
This ti it was Lei Qian's turn to glare at the two n. See? He knew Bai iyue was not crying because of him.
