Dacheng, who was not far from Bai iyue, was still fighting with the zombies in old fashion. With the knife in his hands, he cut down the heads of the zombies, and when the monsters attacked him from behind, he would hurl a handful of poisonous mist at the zombie.
Compared to Bai iyue and Lei Qian, his fighting skills was nowhere enough.
Thus, when he saw Bai iyue summoning a serpent, that could not only spit out ice shards that caused the heads of the zombies to explode but also boiling hot water that could lt them from head to toe, he was so shocked that his eyeballs were about to fall out of their sockets.
He thought that a skill like water ability would be only good enough to help people when they were thirsty or filling up water vats. But it seed like he underestimated Bai iyue.
This woman was really skilled!
Dacheng stared at Bai iyue and didn't know what to make out of the current situation. So, just how strong was Bai iyue? How could her offensive and defensive abilities be this strong?
While Dacheng was lost in his own thoughts, Bai iyue was only focused on killing more zombies and collecting the cyrstal nuclei. The sooner she finished dealing with these monsters and rescuing the survivors, the sooner she would be able to go back ho.
After having the fish ball soup earlier in the morning, Bai iyue was thinking about having a seafood feast. So how could she not wish to go back ho?
She wanted to rush back and exchange so goodies to get her hands on fresh seafood.
However, with Lei Qian and the rest fighting the zombies, it didn't take long for the zombies in the parking lot to disappear. Bai iyue looked at the more and less empty parking lot and then turned to look at the exit. The glass door was tightly locked due to the power running out. And behind the glass door were countless zombies that were banging and smashing their hands on the glass door.
Seeing this, Bai iyue frowned. If they didn't deal with the zombies behind the glass door, then she was sure that they would not be able to enter the hospital. If they wanted to save those people, and then the first thing that they needed to do was to clean up these zombies.
If they broke open the door, then these zombies would pile up outside; it was better to kill them when they were still trapped inside the glass door. Bai iyue thought it was feasible and then directed the water serpent towards the glass door. With its fra being made from water, the waster serpent easily slithered from beneath the glass door.
When it appeared on the other side, it once again started cutting down the heads of the zombies and swallowing the crystal nuclei.
The water serpent was made of clear water essence; like water, it had no scent or colour. The zombies couldn't sense it nor could they see it. Even when the water serpent was standing right in front of them and munching down on their heads, they didn't feel anything.
Their gazes were locked on the living beings that were walking and attacking their kind outside the door. They wanted to bang open the door and pounce on their prey, but it was impossible as the glass door never gave way and the water serpent reaped the heads of the zombies.
In a short while, the water serpent had collected a lot of crystal nuclei in his belly, which was glittering under the shimring, dull sunlight. The water serpent and Bai iyue were connected because of the essence; thus, she knew how many nuclei that thing had collected, which made her quite happy.
How could she not be happy? Without lifting a finger, she was able to collect so many crystal nuclei. Why would she not feel happy?
While Lei Qian dealt with the most of the zombies, Zhou Hongbei and the rest were not wasting their ti either. Zhou Hongbei along with the rest of the nurses dealt with the small portion of zombies. While Jiang Haidai, ng Suisui and the others dealt with the zombies that were injured in the attack but didn't die.
ng Suisui and ng Qibao were more or less skilled in hunting down zombies; thus, they could not kill three to four zombies on their own. Unless they were surrounded, the two siblings didn't find it too problematic.
Jiang Haidai and Shen Zhen were not as skilled as the ng siblings.
Jiang Haidai was carrying two children with her and was not that agile and it was the first ti Shen Zhen was killing zombies. Even though she was skilled in cutting through skin, asking her to chop bones was still too much.
The two sisters managed to deal with most of the zombies and then finished collecting the crystal nuclei. The two of them didn't awaken as supernatural beings so these nuclei were useless for them. Shen Zhen discussed with her sister and asked her to hand these nuclei to Bai iyue, such that she would be able to exchange so supplies for her child.
As for herself, she could take care of her own supplies.
ng Guo, who was tied to the back of his mother, was not free either. He was holding a small bat that was used to clean clothes and every ti a zombie approached them, he would swung the bat on the head of the zombie.
Though he was terrified, he was taught well by his mother. If he didn't beat the zombies, he would be bitten by them. He didn't want to get bitten!
Lei Qian, who watched the scene, felt his eyes soften. He had more or less given up on having a child at this ti. But if the child grew up to be as strong as ng Guo, then maybe it was not too bad to have one.
As he suddenly started to think about babies, he turned to look at Bai iyue.
