Bai iyue shivered when she sensed soone staring at her with a fiery gaze. She blinked her eyes and turned to look at Lei Qian, who was already looking at her. When she saw the heated haze in the eyes of the man, she was speechless. Was this the ti to look at her with such a gaze? Had he finally lost his mind?
She rolled her eyes and turned to look at the front.
The group continued to kill the zombies and finally they swept up the entire wave of zombies that was surrounding outside the hospital. Once the wave was dealt with, Lei Qian and the rest headed to the glass door. Upon seeing that the automatic door was shut close, Lei Qian placed his hands on the glass and heated it until it lted to bits.
When the team stepped inside, they saw that the zombies had already been taken off. The molten flesh of the zombies was flowing on the floor.
Bai Jixuan saw the ss and snorted before saying, "Do you think that you are the only hot shot in this team, huh?"
Lei Qian was speechless. He never thought that he was a hot shot but as a man who wanted to steal Bai Jixuan's sister, he had no choice but to curl his lips and smile at the man with a hint of flattery.
"Take a break," Bai iyue said to the rest of the team. "If you are tired, then you can stop here and rest a little bit. Once you are done, you can co to the fourth floor."
Since they all knew the destination, Bai iyue thought that it was alright for the team to take a break; what was more, she had already taken care of the zombies on this floor.
"It's better to stay together," Lu Yin said before anyone else could speak up. She glared at Bai iyue and stated, "Though the zombies have been cleared up, we cannot be sure that they are completely cleared. So its better to stay together lest one of us falls into a dangerous situation."
Hope its you, thought Bai iyue.
She shrugged her shoulders and said, "You can do whatever you want."
She was only trying to look out for the rest of the team; they killed so many zombies just now; certainly they must be tired but with Lu Yin stirring trouble, Bai iyue was certain that no one would be at ease staying downstairs.
Just as she expected, the rest of the nurses and children also agreed to follow them.
Seeing this Lu Yin looked at Bai iyue with a proud look on her face.
It was as if she had won so sort of battle!
'Crazy,' Bai iyue rolled her eyes and then followed Lei Qian and the others upstairs. The elevator was not working, so they had no choice but to climb up the floors one by one with the help of the stairs that were usually not used.
The first two floors were cleared by Bai iyue's serpent but the water serpent was still busy clearing up the second floor. While they needed to climb upstairs to the third floor. Seeing the many zombies stacked on the staircase, Lei Qian turned to look at the rest of the team and said to them, "Stay where you are and don't make unnecessary moves."
After he finished speaking, Lei Qian summoned the fla sword and clutched the edge of it. He raised it in the air and then brought it down heavily; the roaring flas cut through the bodies of the zombies as if it was slicing butter and set up the zombies on fire.
The rest of the zombies that sensed sothing amiss turned and staggered down. Only for them to get burnt down by the flas that were lting their predecessors.
However, once the flas died down, more and more zombies started to stagger downstairs. Since they couldn't feel any pain, they only howled when the flas disrupted their movents.
When the zombies ca downstairs, Lu Yin, who was standing at the back of the group, couldn't help but curl her lips. She turned to look at the Bai iyue and questioned, "whats this? I thought that you had already cleared up the zombies, Sister Bai."
Bai iyue was too lazy to bother with such an idiot but with how much the woman was jumping like a frog, Bai iyue thought that it was only right for her to nip the woman's feet a little. She turned and looked at Lu Yin before smiling at her.
She said, "I would have done that if you had given the ti. But since little sister Lu Yin was in a hurry, this is all we can do."
Lu Yin's face turned pale when she heard Bai iyue's mocking words; her eyes turned teary and like always, she wanted to call Lei Qian but she was pulled back by Dacheng who looked at her with so annoyance and said to her, "Leader Lei is dealing with zombies. Do you think this is the ti for you to cause trouble?"
Dacheng couldn't help but wonder if he had made a mistake by befriending this dumb woman. He did want soone dimwitted to be by Lei Qian's side such that he would be able to fool them easily. But this woman — it was as if her entire head was just for decoration!
After getting scolded by Dacheng, Lu Yin was furious but she didn't dare to refute him. After all, he was the only one who was willing to bring her along. If she made Dacheng upset, she was worried that no one would be willing to bring her along to hunts.
Lei Qian, who was the source of the conflict, pretended to be deaf. He burnt down the zombies but he didn't look back. After dealing with the zombies he asked the rest of the team to continue moving as they were already too busy!
