Bai iyue simply sneered. She didn't pay attention to Bai Feng's apology at all and said to him, "I don't care what you want and what led to your actions tonight, but I am telling you that there will be no next ti. If this woman or soone else appears in front of again, I will skin them alive."
Bai iyue didn't want to leave Bai Xue alive. For she knew that Bai Xue would never stop hopping in front of her but with Little Cai in her womb, she didn't dare to act carelessly.
With one last glare, she turned on her feet and walked away. However, just as she finished taking three steps, she turned around and grabbed hold of Lei Qian who stood behind her like a statue. She then pulled him along with her without caring about Bai Feng and Bai Xue.
A bit further away, Lu Yu along with the rest of the team was standing protectively.
Though Lei Qian asked them to not interfere in the fight just now, how could they not be worried? However, after watching that the fight was more or less over, they lowered their guard when they saw that the fight which was about to escalate had cald down.
Dacheng, on the other hand, was focused on a totally different thing. He raised his head and looked at Bai Feng who was staring at Bai iyue. His senses were not as developed as the others, thus he had no idea what the fight was about. All he knew was that two strong n suddenly started to fight.
And what was even more ridiculous was that the two n were actually fighting for Bai iyue! This was simply too unbelievable.
But what was even unbelievable was that the man who fought with Lei Qian had thunder ability.
He turned around and searched for soone who could tell him what was going on. In the end,he only found Lei Yan. He leaned in closer to her and questioned, "Who is that man? The one with the thunder ability? I didn't think that I would ever see soone as strong as Master Lei."
Though Dacheng was not satisfied with two strong n fighting over Bai iyue, the first thing he thought about was finding out about the identity of the other man. Just in case Lei Qian turned out to be a dog licker, then he needed soone to back him up.
This man seed like a much better option than anyone else.
At the sa ti, he was glad that he put his pride aside and ca to this place with Yang Chunhua. If not, who knows what else he might have missed! This building was the nest of crouching phoenixes and tigers.
After seeing the strength and skills of the man with the thunder ability, Dacheng was more or less inclined towards following him. If things didn't work out with Lei Qian, then he was willing to chase after that man.
"He is Sister iyue's half brother." Lei Yan sneered coldly. She more or less understood what made Bai iyue so angry and she didn't bla her one bit! She naturally looked down at Bai Feng a little bit. That man was responsible and steady but he was also muddleheaded. When Dacheng heard her response, he heaved a sigh of relief. If this man was Bai iyue's half brother, then there was a chance that their relationship was not as good as he thought.
Lei Yan glanced at the man who was looking a bit relieved and frowned. What was going on with this man? She wondered but then her attention was diverted by ng Suisui and ng Qibao; both of the siblings were pale-faced and looked terribly sick.
Both of the siblings seed to have fallen in the sa kind of daze and they never said a word. In the past, ng Suisui, apart from feeling feverish, didn't feel anything else. But today her condition seed to have worsened. She felt her joints aching; her appetite was more or less blown away.
ng Qibao was the sa. He was distraught due to frequent headaches, which made him annoyed and angry.
"Are you alright?" seeing that the two siblings looked really unwell, Lei Yan raised her head and asked with a soft voice.
"Yeah," ng Qibao nodded and agreed. Even though he was feeling a bit upset and unwell, he was worried that he would be targeted by the rest of the team if they found out that he was bitten by the zombie last night. He couldn't allow that to happen.
So he made an excuse and then took his leave. ng Suisui was also not feeling well; she also turned around and went back to the apartnt after everything had cald down.
She needed to take a lot of rest with her current situation.
On the other side, Bai iyue returned to her ho, where she pulled out a first aid box that she had neatly stored in the cabinet next to the kitchen and walked back. She pulled Lei Qian down on the couch and treated his injuries. Because he was an ability user, his injuries were nothing serious. But because he was hurt because of her, Bai iyue felt a bit guilty.
"Yueyue."
His soft voice made Bai iyue tremble but she suppressed that subtle feeling and raised her head to glare at the man angrily. Shutting down the lid of the first aid box, she stood up and said to him, "From now on, don't try to act like a fool. If soone hits you, then you need to hit them back."
"Are you stupid? Couldn't you have fought back with him? Why did you stay quiet and watch him beat you up? What were you even thinking?"
