"But that would have made you feel bad?" Lei Qian remarked as if it made all the sense in the world and that only made Bai iyue even more speechless. She pursed her lips and scoffed.
"You don't need to worry about that," she stated with a cold voice. "I can take care of my own matters, so you better pay attention to your own safety."
After speaking, she turned on her feet and walked away without looking back. However, she had hardly taken more than five steps when the man behind her called her and asked, "Then does it an that you are worried about ?"
As soon as Lei Qian finished speaking, Bai iyue let out a puff of disbelief. She didn't even bother to look back at him as she headed upstairs and disappeared in her own room.
Lei Qian watched her leave and pursed his lips.

Though Bai Jixuan didn't show any discourtesy to Lei Qian as the man was troubled due to their own affairs, it didn't stop him from scolding Lei Qian.
"I think she is going soft on though." Lei Qian knew that it was probably going to piss Bai Jixuan off but he still teased the man. "Look, she even bandaged my wounds; don't you think she is getting close to ?"

On the other side, at the small penthouse that belonged to the Bai family, Bai Feng was walking with unhurried steps towards the entrance door. Behind him was Bai Xue, who was taking three steps at a ti to catch up to Bai Feng. She called out to Bai Feng and shouted, "Brother Feng, are you really not going to do anything?"
She had an excellent plan. She was first going to agitate Bai Feng and then cause a rift between him and Lei Qian. As long as Lei Qian was beaten up, she would overtly or covertly tell that the person behind this ss was none other than Bai iyue.

Sister Yueyue was bullied by that man and because of that, she ended up getting provoked! I do admit that I have wronged her many tis but I cannot watch such a thing happen."
She paused and added, "If it makes Sister Yueyue feel better, then I am willing to step back and let her get involved with Brother Hu."
As soon as she finished speaking her eyes turned red. But at the sa ti, Bai Xue thought that she was really smart. As long as Bai iyue was won over by Su Hu, then not only could she take advantage of her water ability but she could also win over Lei Qian.
Bai Xue didn't believe that Lei Qian was so obsessed with Bai iyue that he wouldn't pay attention to her. Throughout her life, she had snatched every man who was attracted to Bai iyue. Thus, she didn't doubt her ability at all!

The ceiling light illuminated the corridor and the broken windows brought the gust of chilly winds. It was cold. But Bai Xue felt inexplicably hot as she felt her cheeks burning up with sha.
