"What would happen?" Shen Zhen shrugged nonchalantly. "In the end, they asked the doctors and the nurses to pay back the money. Thus, we were the ones who bore the brunt of the situation. We had to take out the money from our salaries to pay the compensation to the patients' families."
"You are joking!" Bai iyue's eyes widened as she could not believe that the angels in white were treated so casually.
Shen Zhen calmly answered, "That is how it always went." It didn't seem like she blad the patients and their families for what they had done, but Bai iyue didn't agree with her approach.
She could never do such a thing. How could she deduct the salaries of the poor doctors who were working hard to save the lives of the patients? If she deducted their salaries, then Bai iyue was worried that she wouldn't be able to sleep at night.
"Why don't you make them work in the hospital like they do in restaurants?" Bai Jixuan comnted from the front of the RV. "Just make them clean, wash and wipe. Make them work until they finish paying for their fee. Let's see how others will not pay after seeing what happened to their predecessors."
What Bai Jixuan hated the most was when others refused to pay. They obviously owed the hospital the money, so how could they not pay?
Bai iyue's eyes lit up; she smacked her hand on her head and agreed with what her brother said. That's right, they could refuse to pay, but what if they were made to work? She didn't believe that they would refuse that as well?
Once these hooligans were forced to wash stained bedsheets, she would love to see if they still refuse to pay.
"What if they still refuse to pay?" Shen Zhen asked. She didn't think that it was that simple, as she had seen many people who acted like hooligans, and the height of their shalessness was not sothing that they could deal with.
"Then just make their stay worthwhile," Bai Jixuan sneered. "If they refuse, call so thugs to break their hands or legs. Once they break their limbs, fix them all back. Anyway, the world is no longer the sa. You can do whatever you want, can't you?"
As soon as he finished speaking, the two won burst out laughing. Bai iyue, however, couldn't agree more with what Bai Jixuan said. She nodded and agreed with him, "You are right, second brother. If soone refuses to pay, then we can always make them pay in so other way."
"Tsk, you two are really cruel," remarked Shen Zhen. She handed Bai iyue the dicines and asked in a casual voice, "Don't tell that you are really planning to open a hospital?"
"Of course, I am," Bai iyue smiled cheekily. "Since the situation is like this, why don't we take advantage of it? We will set the price according to the treatnt given to the people. Just like before, we will charge them according to the resources used. Of course, we can always increase the price, but I don't think you will agree to that—"
"No, I won't," Shen Zhen refused at once. She said, "It just doesn't feel right." As a doctor, she was taught to save every life without thinking about any kind of benefit.
"That's why we will only charge for a bed, treatnt, examination and registration. Of course, there must be so detail which you can let know and…" She paused before saying, "And the paynt will be in crystal nuclei or materials that you need."
When Shen Zhen heard her words, she was simply speechless. She thought that Bai iyue was just talking about it casually, but it seed like she was really planning to open a hospital. She said to her, "If you want to open a hospital, then it will help many of the survivors. So, of course, I am not against it. But opening a hospital is not a trivial matter. I will need to discuss this matter with Doctor Zhou first."
Shen Zhen was worried that they would take on a responsibility that they might not be able to fulfil.
"Brother Jixuan, you should look for a few young thugs whom we can use." Bai iyue turned to look at her second brother and said to him, "They will co in handy later on."
Now that she was thinking about it, Bai iyue couldn't help but wonder if she should call Xiao Wu. He and his boys would be really helpful in dealing with those who tried to make trouble.

If she opened a hospital, Bai iyue was certain that she would be able to create a little hole in the so-called protective bubble of the military bases.
She thought about it a little and then said to her brother, "You rember Xiao Wu, right? Look for him, brother Jixuan. I am sure that he will be able to keep everyone in control. He will notice who has the potential to act like a hooligan at just a glance."
After a pause, she added, "And there is no need to do any kind of special publicity for the hospital that we will open. After all, if we make too much noise, then I am worried that the survivors would cause too much trouble. Leave the topic of the hospital alone. If soone finds out, then let them find out."
"And those who don't – there is no need to go out of your way to tell them."
"Are you—" Shen Zhen paused and didn't say anything. She wanted to ask Bai iyue if she really wanted to open her hospital in her condition, but Shen Zhen stopped herself, as she knew that more than herself, Bai iyue cared for her child. So she must have thought things through.
Thus, she didn't refute what Bai iyue said.
