Suddenly, the sound of a woman screaming for help echoed in the distant alley where they had already cleared the zombies.
"Let's take a look," said Pumpkin when he heard the sound of the woman's cry for help. He threw away the cigar in his hands and quietly led his n to the alley from where the sounds of struggling were coming from. Of course, he was not foolish enough to jump into the ss right away and simply hid far away to observe the situation.
In the alley, two won who looked young and beautiful were cornered by five n. They were dressed in simple clothes and jackets and looked rather troubled.
The man who was standing in front of the four n was looking at the two won. He frivolously spoke to the two won, "You two co with . Big Brother will bring you to his ho and provide you with supplies. How long are you going to look for the supplies alone? Co join your big brother and live a good life."
Though the man was speaking rather boldly, his pupils were shaking with terror as he looked at Bai iyuei. If Pumpkin and the others had seen his expression, they would have turned around and left without taking another look at the two won in the alley.
The n behind the tattooed man also made so slight teasing remarks, but they never went too far. In fact, even when they were teasing Bai iyue and Liu i, they were really polite and respectful. Not once did they cross the line that they shouldn't have.
On the other hand, one of the subordinates of Pumpkin whispered to him, "It seems like he is Xie Yi. The right-hand man of Xiao Wu. That bastard who tried to snatch the antiques from us last ti."
"Those two won look really good. They are probably from the survivor group and have no place to stay with no one to look after them; if not, then they would not have co out to look for supplies. Should we snatch them from Xiao Wu's gang? I bet that would make that man embarrassed to death."
From a distance, they could see that the bob-cut girl was filled with terror as she looked at the five n in front of her. The woman who was standing next to her in baggy clothes was no better; she, too, was filled with terror as her body shook with fear while she eyed the thugs in front of her.
No matter whether it was the girl who looked like a tomboy or the chubby one, both of them looked really pretty. They were prettier than the won they were used to seeing. Even the young won that they had kidnapped couldn't match up to the beauty of these two won.
Pumpkin was also very excited. He was an average-looking man and he was often rejected by won because of his face before the end of the world. Now that the entire world had turned upside down, he was like a fish in water. He could get any woman that he wanted as long as he made a move.
These two won were very much to his liking, and he wanted to get them at once. Anyway, what could these won do to him? Even if he were to use and dump them, would they be able to report him? He didn't think so.
He turned to look at his n and heaved a sigh of relief when he realised that he had brought at least ten people with him.
"Let's go."
With Pumpkin ordering them, the n behind him didn't even think twice as they charged right into the alley. With guns in hand, they aid them at the thugs who were bullying the two won.
"Don't even think about it! Drop your weapons and leave those poor won alone."
Xie Li turned to look at the people behind him, who were pointing their guns at him. He acted like he was annoyed with soone ruining his good deed. With his hands in the air, he turned and looked at the group of n behind him. He asked, "Who are you?"
Though he already knew the answer, Xie Li still pretended to be dumbfounded.
"You don't need to know who I am; you better get lost before I blow your head up." When Pumpkin saw that the people in front of him didn't recognise him, he beca even bolder. He waved his gun in front of them and said, "These two won are under my protection; you better not try to touch them or else I will kill you all right here and now."
Xie Li rolled his eyes inwardly.
Who was going to die? Only ti would answer this question. This idiot actually dared to have such thoughts towards Bai iyue. It would be a surprise if Bai iyue didn't scoop his balls out with a rusted spoon and then shove them down his throat.
However, no matter what kind of thoughts he had in his head, he didn't care about them. He glanced at Bai iyue, who nodded, and only then did he turn around and leave the alley with his brothers, looking as if he had lost quite a great deal.
But the second he stepped out of the alley, Xie Li breathed a sigh of relief. He placed his hand on his chest and turned to look at the mouth of the alley, which was not far from where he stood.
"Pei! That fool, he doesn't even know what kind of dangerous risk he is going to take ho with him," Xie Li spoke as he spat on the ground, looking annoyed and angry.
"He is not the only one who is a fool, brother Xie," remarked one of his n worriedly. "Once Master Lei finds out that we allowed Miss Bai to go to the base of the Tiger gang alone, he is going to skin us all alive!"
