When Bai iyue woke up the next day, she knew that there was sothing wrong. First of all, she knew that she was back in her room, and secondly, she felt that there was sothing wrong with her. There was a kind of sticky and warm feeling on her cheeks, which made her frown slightly.
She sat up straight and then climbed out of the bed before marching down to the bathing room. As soon as she stepped inside and looked at the reflection in the mirror, Bai iyue's face turned red in anger, but there was not much difference, as a certain bastard had painted her cheeks red like a monkey's butt along with thickening her brows and painting her lips, which made her look terrifying.

A loud roar echoed in the penthouse, and the voice was so powerful that even though the penthouse's walls were soundproof, the roar still transmitted to the Lei family.
Mother Lei, who was cooking breakfast, was left stunned. She paused and then turned to look at her son, who was sitting in the chair and eating his scallion pancakes in the dining room. She asked, "Did you do sothing?"
Even though she knew that Bai iyue was the mother of her son's child, she didn't want to push Bai iyue too much; thus, she had never tried to et with her when the woman was not ready. But she also knew Bai iyue enough to know that the voice belonged to her.
She wondered what her son had done to make Bai iyue so angry that she was yelling his na first thing in the morning.
"I have not done nothing," replied Lei Qian as if he was speaking in riddles.
At first, Mother Lei thought that he was saying that he had done nothing, but as she slowly processed the words in her mind, she paused. The hand that was holding the spatula stiffened, and she turned to look at her son. "So you did sothing!"
This boy! What was he trying to do with her daughter-in-law?
No sooner did Mother Lei finish thinking than there was a knock on the door of their penthouse. No, in fact, it would be right to say that there was a loud banging coming from the outside. "Madam Lei, is Lei Qian here?" Bai iyue asked in a clipped tone as she shot a rather angry look at her second brother.
Mother Lei understood almost at once that this condition of Bai iyue was done by Lei Qian and was speechless and helpless. What was her son thinking!? Did he even want to marry this woman? Because, from the looks of it, it seed like Lei Qian was bent on making Bai iyue hate him.
Why did he paint her face like this?
"He…he is in there." Mother Lei stepped aside and allowed Bai iyue to enter the house, even if she wanted to stop her; looking at the condition of the poor woman, she couldn't bring herself to do it.
Bai iyue thanked Mother Lei and then marched inside the room without paying attention to the look of sheer horror that Father Lei had given her when he stepped out of his room.
"You bastard!" Bai iyue roared as she took off her slippers and hurled them at Lei Qian, who had painted her face when she was sleeping. One night. She slept like a baby for one night, and this man did such a thing to her?
Lei Qian dodged the slippers that were aid at his way and then finished the pancakes on his plate before saying to Bai iyue, "What's the matter?"
"What's the matter?" Bai iyue shrieked. She had tried everything. Literally everything to wipe the makeup off her face, but no matter how much she tried, the makeup just wouldn't budge. She wondered what this man did to make it so stubborn!
She clenched her fingers and tightened her fists before saying to Lei Qian, "Why did you do this to ?"
"What do you think?" Lei Qian asked as he interlocked his fingers and looked at Bai iyue with a hint of amusent in his eyes. "If you like to play the role of ghost in the middle of the night so much, then you need to look like one."
No sooner had he finished speaking than Bai iyue lunged at him, and the man dodged her as he rushed to the entrance of the door.
Seeing him run, Bai iyue shouted, "If you have the guts to do this to , then you better not run! Stay there for ."
However, Lei Qian pretended not to hear as he ran out of the penthouse. When Bai iyue saw this, she stomped her feet and chased after him. She was not going to forgive him for painting her face like this.
