Bai Xue snorted. Even though Su Hu closed the door in her face, she was not bothered by his actions at all. She had long heard that soone was deliberately making things difficult for Su Hu, and Bai Xue supported it one hundred and ten per cent. A man like Su Hu, who relied on others and still betrayed them, deserved such harassnt.
She raised her foot and kicked the door of Su Hu’s apartnt before walking away. Once she arrived ho, she was imdiately pulled inside the house by Chu Xia. Bai Xue rubbed the spot that her mother had hit and said in an angry voice, "I didn’t want to go out either, but I heard so ruckus and wanted to check it out. It seems like that bitch Bai iyue left the base with Master Lei and the rest of her team."
Bai Xue truly hated the fact that Bai iyue had once escaped. She should have died under the waves of the mutated bugs that were targeting her, but Bai iyue was luckier than she had expected. Even with that pregnant belly, Bai iyue was able to stand against those mutated bugs, and here she thought that once Bai iyue was gone, she would be able to round up all the ability users who were following her.

On the other side, at one of the mansions where the Bai family was living with the rest of the team, Old Master Bai humd a soft tune as he walked past the workers who were working their hardest. Even Director Feng was working with them. He could be seen carrying all kinds of heavy stuff around the mansion without complaining.

Old Master Bai nodded and patted his hands before walking to the breakfast station to grab his own bowl of porridge. Despite being old, he walked with a mighty gait which made others look at him with admiration.
As he arrived in front of the stall that was serving breakfast, Old Master Bai washed his hands in the vat that was sitting just next to the stall and then turned around to take the bowl of porridge.
"Thank you," he said as he took the large bowl that was filled with a generous amount of rice and eggs, along with a chicken leg.
"ntion not."
A sweet voice spoke to him, and he imdiately raised his head. The second he raised his head, he was stunned. The woman who stood in front of him looked way too much like his wife, but at the sa ti, he knew that the woman was not his wife. Because his wife was not this young! His eyes blinked rapidly, and he stared at Yan Wanning without moving his gaze away.
He felt like he was dreaming, but at the sa ti, he knew that he was not dreaming.
Yan Wanning couldn’t ignore the fervent gaze of Old Master Bai and raised her head. When she saw the old man looking at her dumbly, she frowned and asked, "Old Master Bai, is sothing the matter?"
She thought that Old Master Bai was looking at her because he wanted to say sothing to her.
Old Master Bai snapped out of his daze and shook his head. He stared at Yan Wanning, who was simply a carbon copy of his wife, and didn’t know what to think of the current situation. If not for the fact that his wife and he were childhood sweethearts, he would have thought that his wife had cheated on him. But he knew that there was no way his wife would do such a thing!
She cared about him too much for her to cheat on him.
