Bai iyue didn’t like Fu Wan, but she couldn’t just pounce on the woman and start accusing her right away. She knew that she needed to at least pretend to ask what the situation was at the mont before she could start berating Fu Wan.
However, just as she took a step close to Xiao Wu, her gagging reflex started to work, and she imdiately stepped back. She turned and looked at Fu Wan, who slled like she had toppled the entire bottle of perfu on top of her head and didn’t know what to think of this woman. Wasn’t she pregnant? Then why was she wearing so much perfu? Just what the hell was this woman even thinking?
Does she not feel sick pouring so much perfu on top of her head?
Before Xiao Wu could say anything, the woman sitting on the couch stood up. Today she was wearing a crochet top that was too small for her and denim jeans. She looked at Bai iyue with an angry look on her face and spoke up, "Are you the one who is in charge of this place?"
Supporting her stomach, she took a step close to Bai iyue, only for her to take a step back as the scent of perfu was way too strong. Ignoring the way Bai iyue was stepping away from her, the woman said to her with so dissatisfaction, "Didn’t you take a lot of crystal nuclei from Fox? How are you treating compared to the price that you have taken? Think about it. You asked to move to the north wing, but there is not enough sunlight there. It also slls bad because there is a greenhouse in front of the window, and you are all sprinkling manure every day."
"No one cos to clean the room either. You have so many maids working here; why don’t they take a look at the north wing? I don’t care; you will have to find a way to make live in this wing. I don’t want to live in the north wing anymore."
Fu Wan knew that this place was better than the north wing. There were maids and guards, and everything seed rather well off when they ca to this place; compared to this wing, the north wing was way too gloomy and a bit terrifying. In truth, there was nothing for Fu Wan to complain about as the north wing was still loads better than the penthouse; at least she could get water any ti she wanted with just a turn of her bathroom taps, but as the young miss of the Bai family, she was used to acting picky about this and that.
"The world is about to end; you are still yelling about manure?" Bai iyue was a bit annoyed by the actions of this woman, who was still yelling and acting as if she was the one doing a favour for her by staying here. "And you cannot stay in here. This wing is closest to the elderly, the orphans and the babies whom we are taking care of. Do you think that you can take care of them?"
"What do you an? Why would I take care of them?" Fu Wan asked as if genuinely confused by what Bai iyue said to her. She snorted and said, "If you all move from here, then naturally the babies, and those old people would have to move as well. Why would I keep them here? Anyway, I don’t care. You’d better pack up your bags and get a move on. Chop, chop."
She clapped her hands and made a motion for Bai iyue to move.
"Move away? From my own ho?" Bai iyue turned and looked at the woman whose proportions seed way too perfect that which looked a little unnatural. She said to her, "Who do you think you are? And why would I listen to you? You said it yourself. This is my ho and I am the one in charge. You are just a guest; why are you overstepping your boundaries by telling the host where to go and where not to go?"
"You!" Fu Wan was really angry. Ever since she got married to the eldest young master of the Bai family, no one dared to say anything against her. Even if she was unreasonable, she would be given way because of her husband. Not much had changed after the apocalypse started. Who would have thought that Bai iyue would not play by the rules?
Her face turned red, and she scolded her fiercely, "Do you even know who my husband is? How dare you treat like this?"
Bai iyue frowned. She knew that the Bai family were strong, but, honestly, if these people from the Bai family were just as unreasonable as Fu Wan, then she would rather steer clear of their paths.
She glared at the woman and took a step back when she saw Fu Wan marching over threateningly. She said to the woman, "If you want to stay, then stay. If you don’t want to stay, then get lost! Who cares who your husband is? This is my base, and I built it from scratch. Everything, including clearing the zombies, was done by us. If you have sothing to say about the arrangents, then you can go ahead and clear up a mansion and arrange everything according to your likes and dislikes."
"What the hell? Do you still think you are living in the sa world as before?" Bai iyue snapped harshly. Ever since her belly started growing bigger, her temper had not been the greatest. She was already having enough trouble carrying this big belly around with her. Who had the ti to quarrel with this woman?
"You!"
"What you? What you? Are you forgetting that you are living at soone else’s place? Go outside and see what two hundred crystal nuclei can get you. Even a bag of rice cannot be purchased with two hundred crystal nuclei. I am giving you a place to stay, water, electricity and whatnot! Don’t even get started on the electricity. Do you think I don’t know you have been running ac all day long at the lowest temperature?"
"Do you think these things do not cost money?"
