Bai iyue arched a brow and said to him, "I wasn’t staring at ng Qibao. I was lost in thought; why would I stare at a man who is younger than by many years?"

"He is still a baby for ." Bai iyue sighed and pushed the man’s face away from her own. She was not, in fact, an actual eighteen-year-old woman. She was way older, even older than Lei Qian if she were to count her soul age. So how could she be interested in ng Qibao? A man who was only seventeen years old.
Lei Qian still didn’t look like he was satisfied with her response, but Bai iyue didn’t care about him. She got to her feet while cradling her big belly. "Are you done interrogating the n you caught yesterday?"

After they started building the safe base, a bunch of special guards who had taken care of and followed Lei Qian in the past turned up at the safe base. That was why she allowed these special guards to join the base, as she could see that they were honestly loyal to Lei Qian and his family; having them in the base would certainly add another layer of security for her and her child.
She turned to look at Lei Qian and said to him, "Your cousin seems to have awakened as well; I heard it from Xiao Wu, who went to deliver goods to the safe base. You should learn to be careful in the next few days; I don’t think that man will stay quiet after awakening."
Lei Qian sneered. He said to her, "Of course, he is not going to stay quiet. That man has never been one to accept defeat silently. Since he awakened, he will certainly co looking for . But it’s not like I am scared of him," snorted Lei Qian. He also knew that Lei Wu had awakened; he was not even surprised that the man had sohow managed to awaken with his weak body. However, he was not overly worried.
There was no point in worrying, for the man was not going to let him off just because he was worried.
Bai iyue glanced at the man. She didn’t say anything; as long as he knew that Lei Wu had awakened and had a plan to deal with him, she was not going to interfere in his battles, not unless he couldn’t take care of them on his own. She pursed his lips and said to him, "Let’s go to the basent; we need to get answers." Since she had caught those n, Bai iyue wanted to know what those people were trying to do by sneaking into her house so late
Lei Qian nodded and then took Bai iyue’s hand before bringing her to the basent of the mansion where they were staying. As soon as Bai iyue opened the door of the basent, she could hear the cries of the n who were being held by the Lei Family’s special guards. She frowned slightly when she heard those shrill screams. Would Yu Miaomiao send soone as weak as these n to steal her child? Bai iyue never thought that these people would be so weak that they would start crying for their mothers and the heavens after just a few punches. Now she was a bit doubtful.
