Bai iyue nodded at the man. She knew this man, as he was the one who often ca to look for her whenever Dacheng had sothing to tell her. She tipped her chin at the couch and said, "Sit down."
The man nodded at Bai iyue and then took a seat on the couch before saying to her, "Leader, Dacheng has sent you another letter and a map." He pushed the envelope in his hand forward and respectfully said to Bai iyue, "Miss Bai, this is the last letter that we are going to send you. According to the plan that we have co up with, we will start attacking Yu Miaomiao in the morning, around five. If everything goes well, then we will be taking down her head in one big swoop."
"Oh?" Bai iyue arched a brow. The content of the letter surprised her, as she didn’t believe that Dacheng and Chief Lin would be willing to attack Yu Miaomiao. All along, she was certain that these two n were waiting for her to make a move. But now, waiting for an opportunity was not an option, as the situation inside the safe base was getting more and more dangerous.
Bai iyue was certain that those three would hold on until she made a move, but it seed like the situation was even more dangerous than she thought.
However, she had a very good idea that Dacheng and Lu Yin were not simple characters. She took the envelope from the table and opened it. With a click, the folder opened and slid out three maps. One was the attack one, the other one was the defence one, and the last one was an escape one. The attack and defence maps were fine, but the problem lay with the escape one, and not just any problem. A rather big problem.
She pursed her lips and said to the soldier, "Why is this map pointing all escape routes to my safe base?"
"It is not that we wanted to make our escape routes toward your base, but we had no choice. The remaining posts are taken by Fox and Bai Feng. Even though our goal is the sa, there is no coordination among the three teams because Yu Miaomiao made sure that we cannot break through their defence line."
Bai iyue frowned. "How confident are you in killing Yu Miaomiao?"
"Currently, only four or five points," said the soldier with a sigh. "We have recruited three thousand of the ten thousand ability users that Yu Miaomiao has at the mont, but the rest of the ability users cannot leave because their family mbers are currently in control of the officials and the higher-ups of the safe base. We cannot contact them at the mont because they have been threatened not to approach us."
Bai iyue pursed her lips. She tapped on the armrest and questioned, "If you are not confident in winning this battle, why are you rushing in?" Now that Dacheng had shown her so clear honesty, Bai iyue was willing to listen to what that man had to say.
"To tell you the truth, a few days ago, Yu Miaomiao forcibly tried to level up after she found out that the zombie nuclei could be used to enhance one’s powers. Thus, she took a bunch of nuclei from the safehouse and tried to instil all the energy within her body. Because of this, her body suffered countless blows. Currently, more than half of the ability users under her are not happy with the tyranny she is showing them. They are determined to break into the security region and rescue their family mbers instead of supporting Yu Miaomiao in the battle."
"As for the other half, they are neither too strong nor too weak. They are playing neutral for the ti being. But we have already sent out the word that if they dare to join hands with Yu Miaomiao, we will not show any rcy to them. Unless they are fools, they would never co in our path."
All in all, they were determined to kill anyone who ca in their path.
The words of the soldier made Xiao Wu tense, and even Bai iyue turned a bit upset.
"Was it decided by Dacheng?" Bai iyue asked.
"Yes."
Of course, he was the one who decided this. He was obsessed with the idea of doing sothing great, and when soone was obsessed with greatness, they were bound to discard the lives and deaths of others. As long as they could get to their goal and people like Dacheng were especially terrifying. Without any social structure and law being set up in this world, this was how it was going to be.
Now, only three thousand survivors were going to fight along with the rest of the soldiers under Yu Miaomiao. But what about the survivors? What were they going to do in this war?
Bai iyue nodded. She didn’t say anything; she took the envelope and put the maps and everything else inside it before saying, "I will wish them well. I hope they will co out on top of this war after everything is over."

The soldier was now a bit dissatisfied, but when he thought about how they had to go through this plan no matter what, he could only grit his teeth and leave.
