Vale nodded slightly. Seven days was too long, and there must be a catch.
"I thought the sa. If they were at full strength, they wouldn't bother sending a warning. nnena must still be recovering after opening the passage back from the Wastelands… or there's another reason we aren't aware of."
Cyper agreed to this as he was sure that sending those Chaos Immortals here must not be easy.
"Then that ans she's vulnerable… at least for now."
Vale didn't answer right away. His eyes were fixed on the direction where Rhaziel vanished.
"Maybe… But a wounded monster is still a monster. We'll prepare our defenses. Inform the others. No one leaves the Shadow Domain for now."
Magnus and Cyper both nodded and left swiftly.
Vale, however, remained where he stood, staring at the distant horizon as he confird that his Divine Sense Mark on Rhaziel had disappeared.
It was definitely noticed and was soon removed.

anwhile, on the southern continent, where the headquarters of the Elental Arts Faction was located, a huge battle was going on.
The Chaos Immortals brought 50 Immortals to fight against the twelve main families of the Elental Arts Faction…
Among them was Nyssa, a Chaos Immortal known for her mastery of corrosion and decay, who was leading the charge.
Her body emitted a faint violet haze, and every step she took caused the ground beneath her to rot. Without a doubt, her Chaos Spells focused on corruption.
She stood on a ruined bridge that was surrounded by the corpses of Fire Arcanists. Despite the number of lives taken, she still looked furious.
"This isn't supposed to be difficult…" She frowned as she gazed at the burning land.
"How are mortals lasting this long?"
"They're not mortals anymore…" one of her companions reminded. "Their Grand Arcanists turned themselves into Immortals using forbidden rituals. They've sacrificed their life essence and their own people just to fight us."
Nyssa clenched her jaw. "Desperation always makes them stronger."
Indeed, the Elental Arts Faction only had Half-Immortals and Grand Arcanists on their side.
The Half-Immortals could also use their Forbidden Rituals to advance to an Immortal. However, if they did that, they would no longer have a chance to advance ever again.
On the other hand, the old Grand Arcanists of the Faction already had a very small chance of obtaining Divinity or Half-Immortal State. Because of that, it was decided that they would be the ones to proceed with the Forbidden Ritual.

"Three Fire Immortals incoming!" a Chaos Immortal shouted.
"Let them co…" Nyssa said coldly. "We'll erase them all."
The next mont, the three Fire Immortals, who were previously Grand Arcanists, attacked in unison. Streams of fla turned into fla serpents, and they all struck at the Chaos Immortals from all directions.
Nyssa raised her hand, summoning a wall of chaotic energy.
The flas collided against it, and the attack was blocked…
"You consider yourselves immortals? Dream on! You pitiful control over Divinity will be your downfall!"
Nyssa laughed.
Even if the Grand Arcanists obtained divinity within their bodies and changed their physique to beco an Immortal, they had no prior expensive using Celestial Arts.
Because of that, they were still using their Arcane Spells instead of Celestial Spells to attack them! It was a waste of opportunity as they couldn't maximize the Divinity they possess within their bodies.
Still, Divinity was Divinity.
If they were hit by those flas with Fire Divinity, they would also suffer heavy injuries and they couldn't just let that happen!
'They shouldn't last that long with their physique… Maybe an hour… or half an hour.' Nyssa mused, believing that their transformation wouldn't be forever. There was definitely a limit, though she wasn't aware of it.
One of the Fire Immortals shouted as "You dare bring your corruption to our world? Then burn with us!"
Nyssa grinned. "Your fire will only feed our chaos!"
She waved her arm, and a chaotic mist appeared around her before it expanded, consuming the flas coming at her...
There was no way she could easily overpower the Fire Divinity. However, she had better control and experience, so she knew that she must use her advantage.
But before she could advance, another explosion shook the entire battlefield.
From the ruins of the burning city, fifteen new Immortal auras erupted.
The Chaos Immortals faltered for a mont.
"What… Fifteen?" soone gasped.
One of Nyssa's allies cursed under his breath. "They actually did it… The Grand Arcanists used another Forbidden Rite of Rebirth!"
Nyssa's eyes narrowed as she felt the sudden rise of energy around her.
She thought that they were only dealing with three Fire Immortals!
However, she underestimated the amount of preparation they had done. The Elental Arts Faction had been ruling this land for centuries. Their accumulated wealth was already unimaginable at this stage.
Because of those treasures they obtained, they were able to use the forbidden ritual to 15 more Grand Arcanists of their Faction, while the three Fire Immortals were
Soon, the Fire Divinity around started becoming suffocating…
They had already sent their families away, and this city was already useless.
Because of that, the Fire Immortals had nothing left to worry about and created an inferno, blocking the space that the Chaos Immortals could use to escape.
Just like that, the fifteen Fire Immortals, with their bodies still burning with ritual marks, surrounded the Chaos Immortals…
Unfortunately, because of their forceful ascension, they no longer looked human. Their flesh was covered with markings, and their eyes seed like molten lava.
And that wasn't all.
The ground shook again. From beneath the ruined temples, dozens of corpses began to rise.
In re monts, twenty corpses of forr Immortals stood up. Their movents were stiff, but their power was undeniable.
Together with the newly born Fire Immortals, there were thirty-five Elental Immortals standing against the fifty Chaos Immortals.

"Impossible…" one of the Chaos Immortals muttered, watching the reanimated Immortal float into the sky.
