The two Chaos Immortals had already encountered several people who hated them after taking over their territory. It was not a surprising thing to be attacked because of that.
Of course, they were trying not to push people to their limit, since they also needed their produce or resources, but so of them just really needed to be struck on their heads to realize that they couldn’t do anything against them.
Velthar sneered after seeing a lone figure who seed to be a priest...
"Another fool seeking favor. Dispose of him."
But before either could act, Vale’s eyes glowed faintly.
He had already activated his Mindpierce Invocation and Kharon staggered, clutching his head as his awareness fractured... They didn’t notice any traces of Divinity a few monts ago, but when they finally did, it was already too late!
That attack had already gone through!
Velthar raised his hand to release a Chaos Spell to block Vale’s attack but the latter’s second spell was already coming through the air!
It was the Delirium Echo. A psychic wave struck Velthar, multiplying his thoughts into a storm of illusions. He saw enemies everywhere, shadows pouncing at him, chains binding his limbs... and other random thoughts he couldn’t understand!
His mind was being overwheld!
He could only try to erase everything in front of him by using a burst of Chaos Energy outward! However, it struck nothing but air.
Kharon tried to recover, but Vale already used another spell... Cerebral Eclipse.
This powerful Psychic Spell was truly terrifying... In just a few monts, it started collapsing his ntal domain into silence.
Kharon’s body froze, his eyes then beca vacant as his will was soon erased.
Velthar scread, his mind was being ssed up under the weight of false realities that he was seeing. Vale then finished him off with Mind Collapse, severing his rationality entirely.
Everything happened so quickly...
The Immortal’s body remained standing, but his consciousness was gone, reduced to fragnts of instinct.
As a matter of fact, it was all less than a minute of battle...
Just like that, the plaza fell silent. Overseers and mortals nearby stared in horror as both Chaos Immortals stood like statues, with their eyes empty and their Divinity extinguished from within.
Vale raised his hand once more, activating the Emperor’s Domain.
The oppressive aura from the Spell’s effect radiated outward, compelling silence and obedience. None dared move or even speak at all.
’Two more down,’ Vale thought as he planned to eliminate a few more to ensure that these Chaos Immortals would no longer danger to cause trouble to his Territory... ever again.
Once again, Vale turned away, leaving no trace of dark energy or hint of his true identity.
To the world, it would seem that Drelmar City’s Chaos Immortals had been eliminated by a mysterious Immortal of Psychic or Divine Path, just like what happened to Rhaziel.
Furthermore, since they were eliminated with several witnesses, the news spread a lot quickly.
Just like that, it didn’t take that long before panic spread across the western lands. The news was swiftly spread by local newspapers too...
Three Chaos Immortals had fallen in just two days... Their deaths left no visible wounds, no signs of fierce battle... and only vacant bodies and extinguished Divinity.
The Chaos Crusaders, or those Arcanists serving the Chaos Immortals, couldn’t help but feel worried.
It was obvious that soone was hunting Chaos’ immortals. They could only hope that they wouldn’t be targeted as well since they were serving these guys.
"But who is hunting them?"
"Is it from the Shadow Domain? But this feels different... It’s probably the church, right?"
"That’s possible..."
Vale listened from afar, his disguise was flawless...
The Chaos Immortals would certainly suspect the Shadow Immortal, but they wouldn’t be sure about it.
And that was exactly what Vale intended.

Vale lingered in Drelmar City for a while. He was watching the panic ripple and saw several Chaos Immortals inspecting the bodies of those he had eliminated...
’Five investigators, huh... But I can’t see any of their leaders here.’ Vale mused as he had already seen the leaders before. He wouldn’t mistake their appearance, including the aura they exude.
Because of that, he felt that he should wait a little bit more.
For now, he waited for the commotion to die down a little and continued observing the situation...
Three Chaos Immortals had fallen in two nights. To any ordinary observer, it was already a devastating blow. But Vale knew that this wouldn’t be enough to rattle them.
Three... too few.
Vale mused as he visited a coffee shop...
At this ti, he was wearing his normal suit attire to easily mix through the crowd...
His aura remained serene, and he seed just like a normal traveler.
"I wonder if they’re taking this seriously..." Vale murmured to himself. "Will three corpses be enough to warn them?"
"I don’t think so... They will simply replace them with others. If I want peace for my territory, I guess I must strike deeper."
Vale considered his options. He could wait for so ti until a high-ranking Chaos Immortal shows up while he lets the fear spread. After all, a mysterious enemy would surely terrify these Immortals. Sothing unknown was already sothing they should avoid fighting...
However, creating paranoia alone would not dismantle their plans...
’Five... perhaps six. That number will shake their group... If their Immortals keep falling, even the higher figures like Kent, Gyn, Thassa, Neylan, and others will be forced to act. That should be the best way to hunt them.’
After reaching this ti, Vale made his decision and smiled...
"Three is too few. Tonight, I will make it five."
Just like that, Vale waited for the night, and like before, he was in his priestly robes, ready to hunt two more Chaos Immortals.
This ti, however, Vale knew that the Chaos Immortals nearby would be very cautious... No matter how arrogant they were, they still treasured their lives and wanted to live a long life.
Unfortunately for them, Vale had already expected this... and since this would be his last act, he might as well do it openly!
"Soon... You will all be terrified of a mysterious Psychic Immortal."
