Now reading: Chapter 113: Lisa from Attack on Titan: The Titan of Fate, a Other novel by Drosen.

Wall Sheena, as the last line of walls protecting humanity, naturally housed within it the most powerful and wealthy group of people inside the walls.

Order within Wall Sheena was maintained by the Military Police, composed of elite trainees and outstanding Garrison soldiers from various regions, and life inside Wall Sheena was completely different from that of the people living within the other two walls.

Even when Wall Maria was breached by the Titans, to the noble lords inside Wall Sheena it was nothing at all—at most, they would put on a show and sigh a couple of tis during their banquets.

After returning ho, these noble lords would still eat and drink as they pleased.

As the most important capital of humanity within the walls, the royal capital was naturally located inside Wall Sheena.

On the surface, life in the royal capital looked comfortable and relaxed. The people on the streets all wore proud smiles, and from ti to ti mbers of the Military Police, dressed in uniforms bearing the unicorn emblem, would pass by.

The glamour was only superficial. Naturally, there were many unseen cris within the royal capital, most of them hidden in the dark, sunless underground city.

Bribery and violence within the royal capital were also far from rare.

Lisa Wald, although the only daughter of the great noble Lord Wald, was herself extrely modest and gentle. Ever since the Wald family had been forced to move to Wall Sheena after Wall Rose was breached, this gentle, modest, and beautiful noble lady nad Lisa beca famous within the aristocratic circles of the royal capital. No one had expected that the potbellied Lord Wald would have such an outstanding daughter.

Of course, within the royal capital there were also faintly so strange rumors about Lisa.

But ever since Lord Wald's younger brother beca the commander, the Wald family grew even more powerful, and the rumors naturally faded away.

Walking along the bustling comrcial street, Lisa had only two guards following behind her, both dressed in plain clothes. They were soldiers of the Garrison assigned by Randy Wald to protect the Wald family, and Lisa would naturally be accompanied by protection whenever she went out.

However, since it was a shopping trip, there was no need to wear Garrison uniforms. Ruben, the elite squad leader, brought another soldier along to protect Lisa as she went out.

On the street, Lisa would occasionally run into acquaintances—both nobles and familiar shop owners from roadside stores.

Whenever Lisa t soone she knew, she would greet them politely, regardless of their status.

When she reached a won's clothing shop she often visited, a long dress displayed in the shop window caught Lisa's attention.

It should have been a newly released item from the store.

The main body was a pale red color, with white tassel trim, and a dazzling string of gemstones at the collar.

Lisa imdiately fell in love with the dress. She turned her head toward Ruben and said,

"Uncle Ruben, please wait for outside the shop for a while. I want to buy this dress."

Ruben glanced at the storefront. It really wouldn't be appropriate for them to enter a won's clothing shop, so he nodded and instructed,

"If there's any ergency, Miss, shout loudly."

"Alright."

Lisa entered the won's clothing shop just like that. After greeting the familiar shop owner, she stated that she wanted to try on the newly released dress.

Then, without paying attention to the shop owner's sowhat strange look, she walked straight into the fitting room.

Just as Lisa was about to undo the buttons of her clothes, her body stiffened, and she felt a cold sensation on her neck along with a faint trace of pain.

A sharp dagger was pressed against Lisa's throat.

"Long ti no see, Miss Lisa."

The sowhat familiar voice shocked Lisa.

"Please stay calm. We have no hostile intent. Miss Lisa, kindly raise your hands and turn around."

Lisa obediently did as instructed.

As she turned her head, a familiar face appeared before her.

"You are… Mr. Yago?!" Lisa looked extrely surprised and couldn't help but cry out.

Standing before Lisa now was Yago in plain clothes, and beside him was Annie, wearing an indifferent expression.

Seeing that Lisa showed no hostility, Yago lowered the dagger he had been holding.

"I truly didn't expect to et you here. I didn't have the chance to properly thank you back then, but now I am truly grateful for saving my life," Lisa said earnestly, seemingly not minding at all that Yago had just held a dagger to her neck.

Instead, Yago felt a bit embarrassed by Lisa's straightforwardness.

"And this person is?" Lisa looked toward Annie beside him.

Before Yago could reply, a commotion ca from outside the fitting room.

"Miss Lisa! Are you alright?! We heard you shout just now."

Yago looked at Lisa, and Lisa cooperatively said loudly,

"It's fine, Uncle Ruben. I just slipped a bit earlier. Please don't worry."

"Alright, Miss Lisa." Ruben hesitated before leaving, continuing to stand guard at the entrance.

"Why have you co here?" Although Lisa was speaking to Yago, her gaze kept drifting toward Annie beside him.

"It's a long story, Miss Lisa. You once promised that you could help with a small favor, and I entrusted my family to your care. I wonder how my family is doing now?" Yago got straight to the point.

But Lisa's eyes remained fixed on Annie.

Imdiately, Yago sensed that sothing was off, and he recalled the rumors he had once heard.

It was said that Miss Lisa Wald of the Wald family did not like n but preferred won. There were even more outrageous rumors claiming that Lisa Wald was actually a man who had undergone special modification…

Although the rumors were absurd, Yago had never believed them. After all, he had once saved Lisa from the hands of an abnormal Titan in the Trost District.

But now, Yago's resolve wavered slightly, because the way Lisa looked at Annie was simply far too intense.

In fact, the rumors were not entirely wrong. Lisa Wald truly had no such feelings toward n, but had an intense fondness for beautiful won. Coupled with Annie's rather cold and aloof face, Lisa instantly felt a slight tremor in her heart.

The strange atmosphere made Yago feel uneasy. He had originally brought Annie along so that Annie could supervise him, since Lisa herself was quite beautiful.

Yago had brought Annie so that she could feel his loyalty, so that even when facing a beautiful woman, Yago would not waver.

But now, why did it feel like sending a lazy sheep straight into the mouth of a gray wolf?

Yago imdiately stepped forward, blocking Lisa's burning gaze.

Annie was clearly also made uncomfortable by Lisa's stare. With Yago blocking in front, Annie imdiately hid behind Yago.

A trace of regret flashed through Lisa's eyes.

"Miss Lisa, you still haven't answered my question," Yago reminded her.
