"Is that so? Ebson Louis really said that? It's quite unexpected, yet also reasonable." Willy Tybur leaned forward, his hands clasped over his knees. His blond hair hung naturally, covering his eyes, making it impossible to see his current expression.

Sitting beside Willy was a military officer in uniform—none other than the commander of the Marley Warrior Unit, Theo Magath. The usually stern-faced Magath was now filled with shock after hearing the information from the person before him.

Willy gathered his thoughts, then raised his head and looked at the man in front of him.

"Although I'm surprised, Mr. Newt, why are you telling us all this? Logically speaking, you also possess Titan power created by Ebson. Why would you choose to help us, Marley?"

That's right—the one sitting before Willy and the Tybur family was the Crimson Fla Titan, Newt. Normally quiet, with little presence and a gloomy expression, he was now revealing in full detail Ebson's plan to stir chaos during the World Assembly.

Willy was extrely surprised by Newt's actions. He couldn't understand why Newt would betray Ebson and expose his plans. Previously, Newt had even broken into the Tybur family's manor alone, warning Willy that Ebson was contacting several artificial Titans with unclear intentions.

However, at the ti, Willy had already listed Ebson as a dangerous figure and didn't take Newt's words to heart. He simply inford Magath and had him take Newt away.

But unexpectedly, in just a few days, such a major change had occurred. Ebson planned to interfere with the World Assembly—sothing Willy had not anticipated. The Assembly he had ticulously prepared was not ant for Ebson, but for another guest—from overseas. Now, Ebson's interference would clearly disrupt everything.

Newt took a deep breath and lifted his head. His brown eyes were bloodshot as he spoke bitterly:

"Mr. Tybur, you don't believe ? Do you know my story? Of course, how could a noble like you care about the lives of people like us Eldians? We are the sa race, yet our lives are as different as heaven and hell."

Magath, standing to the side, did not interrupt. He subtly glanced at Willy Tybur. The Tybur family were Eldians—this was known to all nations. Other races in the world, including Marley, despised Eldians and wished for their complete extinction. Yet, they treated the Tybur family differently. Many nobles from other countries were even on excellent terms with them. And Marley, the nation that hated Eldians the most, was actually controlled behind the scenes by the Eldian Tybur family.

Both were Eldians—so why was there such a vast difference between the Tybur family and other Eldians?

In the end, what the world hated was not Eldians themselves, but the terrifying Titan power they possessed. Human nature carries a trace of selfishness, making most people instinctively fear, dread, and even resent beings with greater power—especially those they cannot control.

Moreover, the Eldian Empire once dominated the world for nearly a thousand years using Titan power. The seeds of hatred had long been planted.

So why weren't the Tybur family rejected? As ntioned earlier, humans resent those stronger than themselves and beyond control. But families like the Tyburs, who willingly align themselves with others and even help suppress and control fellow Eldians, are naturally welcod by the world.

As Newt continued his rambling narration, his story slowly unfolded.

Newt was no different from other Eldians living in the Liberio internnt zone. If there was anything special about him, it was that his constitution was much weaker than others his age—even weaker than so girls.

However, Newt was lucky. He had a childhood friend who grew up with him—Anna.

When Newt was bullied as a child, Anna would always step in to help him. Whenever he experienced joy or sorrow, Anna was the only one he could confide in. Aside from his parents, Anna was probably the person who cared about him most in the world. Naturally, as they grew older, Newt fell in love with Anna—and Anna loved him as well. Without any surprises, the two ended up together.

Anna wasn't particularly beautiful. In many people's eyes, her appearance was average, and she was even a bit plump—forming a sharp contrast with Newt, who was as thin as a stick.

But none of that affected their relationship. In Newt's heart, Anna was the most beautiful angel he had ever t in his life.

At that ti, Newt's greatest dream was to open a candy shop with Anna—sothing they had envied since childhood—and to have a lovely child together. If that happened, he would be completely satisfied.

But fate was rciless. As he grew older, Newt's body beca weaker and weaker. His already frail fra turned utterly feeble.

To take care of him, Anna—who was already busy—beca even more overworked. Out of 24 hours a day, she spent nearly 20 working part-ti jobs, desperately earning money for her husband's health.

The dicine Newt needed was already expensive, and the unscrupulous rchants sold the sa dicine to Eldians at several tis the price they charged Marleyans.

Yet for Newt's sake, Anna continued to endure in silence.

Until one day, Anna let go of the needle and thread in her hands, closed her eyes, and collapsed in front of Newt.

Seeing this, Newt scrambled frantically from the kitchen toward her, trembling as he held her and called out her na—but Anna gave no response.

And the weakened Newt didn't even have the strength to move her. In despair and confusion, he struggled out of the house, shouting for help.

With the neighbors' assistance, Anna was sent to a clinic. But the doctor delivered a devastating diagnosis—Anna was sick, and very seriously so. A terrifying tumor had grown inside her body, and it had already spread. She didn't have much ti left. The doctor sighed and advised Newt to prepare himself.

Hearing this, Newt felt as if his soul had been ripped away. The world spun around him.

Anna… Anna was sick? How could that be? She had always been so healthy since childhood—how could she suddenly have such a severe illness?

But soon, Newt thought of himself. It was all because of him! Anna had exhausted herself taking care of him. Those overwhelming workloads must have destroyed her body.

Overco with despair and guilt, Newt broke down crying outside the clinic. Just as he was about to fall completely into hopelessness, a glimr of hope appeared.
