Preparations in the Sacred Abyss Continent
Sacred Abyss Continent, Great Thousand Tower Division
Xiao Tiance and his group waited for three days. During this ti, Xiao Tiance didn't remain idle. Working with Ling'er, he developed a Spirit Array Amulet that could disguise one's aura to mimic that of the demon clan.
The amulet had one critical limitation: it would stop working if the user unleashed their inner spiritual energy.
In his room, Xiao Tiance inspected five Spirit Array Amulets laid out before him. A faint smile curved his lips as he turned to the curious Xiao Yan and Xun'er.
"These Spirit Array Amulets are finished. There are five in total one for each of us. As long as you wear one and avoid releasing your spiritual energy, the demon clan won't detect you."
"Unbelievable!" Xiao Yan gasped. "Ancestor Tiance, you're incredible! You've even managed to disguise our aura?"
Xiao Tiance chuckled lightly. "It's nothing special just a small trick.
"Once we leave the Sacred Abyss Continent, we'll officially be in the demon clan's territory. These Spirit Array Amulets are both offensive and defensive; you've used similar ones before. Keep them handy when danger strikes, they might save your lives.
"Our first objective is to rescue your father in law and the Dragon Emperor. Until we achieve that, we must stay low profile."
"Yes, Teacher/Uncle Tiance/Ancestor," the four responded in unison.
Nodding, Xiao Tiance motioned for them to put the amulets away. Just as he was about to distribute pills, there was a knock at the door.
"Demon Slayer King, Manager Wan sent to inform you that the demon clan's army has launched another assault. My task is to escort you off the Sacred Abyss Continent," a voice called from outside.
Xiao Tiance exchanged glances with Xiao Yan and the others before stepping out.
The Escort
Standing at the door was a short, unimpressive middle aged man covered in dirt, as though he'd just climbed out of a mud pit.
Xiao Tiance smiled and asked, "Thank you for coming. What should I call you?"
"Your humble servant is nad Dikon, from the Pangolin Clan. It's an honor to serve the Demon Slayer King," the man replied, bowing deeply.
"Alright, lead the way."
The group followed Dikon to the city wall. With a leap, Dikon landed outside the wall, killing a minor demon soldier with a single slap. Turning back, he gestured for Xiao Tiance and the others to follow.
Once they landed, Dikon's spiritual energy surged. The ground beneath them caved in, forming a tunnel about two ters in diater.
A Swift Underground Escape
"Impressive," Xiao Tiance thought as he observed Dikon's speed and efficiency. "The Pangolin Clan truly excels in subterranean movent. Even Heavenly Sovereigns would struggle to match this pace underground."
The group advanced silently through the rocky terrain, the tunnel running about 100 ters below the surface. Xiao Yan and the others were equally astonished. Traversing the void was one thing, but moving so swiftly through solid rock was sothing even Zi Yan, with her spatial talents, couldn't do as effortlessly.
Dikon periodically received pills from Xiao Tiance to replenish his energy, ensuring their progress remained smooth.
After three days, Dikon clawed through the earth, only for seawater to rush into the tunnel. Reacting swiftly, he sealed the breach with spiritual energy and turned to Xiao Tiance.
"Demon Slayer King, we've reached the Endless Sea. From here, you'll need to travel underwater for about 10,000 miles to reach the demon clan's territory.
"This is as far as I can take you. I wish you success in your mission."
Xiao Tiance extended his soul sense, scanning an area spanning dozens of kiloters. Sensing no imdiate danger, he nodded.
"You've worked hard, Dikon. Take this Spirit Array Amulet. If you're in danger, inject your spiritual energy into it and throw it at your enemy. It can kill a lower level Spirit Grade Heavenly Sovereign or delay a stronger opponent long enough for you to escape."
Dikon's face lit up with delight. "Thank you, Demon Slayer King!"
He carefully accepted the amulet, knowing it was one of Bai Yujing's fad treasures, rarely available for sale.
"Demon Slayer King, I must warn you powerful sea beasts inhabit the Endless Sea. Many have been corrupted by demonic aura and have lost their sanity. If you encounter one, avoid engaging them.
"These beasts will attack any unfamiliar presence, and fighting them could alert the demon clan to your location."
"Understood," Xiao Tiance replied. "On your way back, collapse this tunnel to avoid leaving any trace."
Into the Endless Sea
Xiao Tiance and the group leaped into the sea. Thanks to a map provided by Wan Feng, they wouldn't lose their way they simply needed to head west toward the first demon occupied continent: Blood Demon Continent.
Beneath the waves, Xiao Tiance distributed a special Water Repelling Pearl provided by Wan Feng. After channeling spiritual energy into it, the pearl created a protective bubble that expelled the surrounding water.
"Huaian, maintain the energy input to sustain the pearl's field.
"Zi Yan, use your Ancient Void Dragon spatial talents to guide us swiftly.
"Xiao Yan and Xun'er, keep your energy reserves full. Once we enter Blood Demon Continent, danger could arise at any mont," Xiao Tiance instructed.
"Yes, Teacher/Ancestor!"
Just as they prepared to move, a voice erged from the Heavenly Dao Tower atop Xiao Tiance's head.
"Sir, why go through all this trouble? Didn't you bring the Heavenly Dao Glazed Bottle?"
Using the Heavenly Dao Glazed Bottle
"Why not just store them in the Heavenly Dao Glazed Bottle? You can travel alone, and even if danger arises, you'll be able to retreat quickly," suggested Fatty Wa.
Hearing this, Xiao Tiance slapped his forehead with a wry smile. "I really am forgetful."
He turned to Xiao Yan and the others and said, "You all heard Fatty Wa. From here on, you'll stay inside the Heavenly Dao Glazed Bottle and focus on cultivating. Once we've reached our destination, I'll let you out."
Although Xiao Yan and the others twitched slightly at the suggestion, they didn't argue. Shortly after, Xiao Tiance stored them inside the Heavenly Dao Glazed Bottle.
With the group safely inside, Xiao Tiance activated the Water Repelling Pearl and shot forward. In re monts, he crossed several hundred kiloters.
The Blood Demon Continent
After only a few minutes of rapid travel, Xiao Tiance arrived at the boundary between the Endless Sea and the Blood Demon Continent.
Before he even set foot on the continent, a grueso scene unfolded before him. He saw a group of demon clan soldiers hunting and slaughtering humans helpless individuals who lacked the strength to resist.
These demons not only killed the humans but also devoured their flesh raw. Blood dripped grotesquely from their mouths, their expressions twisted in savage pleasure.
"These wretched beasts! They treat humans like livestock for food," Xiao Tiance growled, his voice filled with fury.
As his killing intent surged, Fatty Wa's voice echoed in his mind. "Master, calm yourself. This is survival of the fittest. In their eyes, humans aren't people they're prey, no different from how humans eat fish or shrimp. They feel no moral conflict."
"That's precisely why they must die." Xiao Tiance's voice turned cold.
With a re thought, golden light flashed. In an instant, the throats of all ten demon soldiers were slit, their heads severed cleanly from their bodies.
Unfortunately, the humans they had captured were already dead.
Purging the Continent
Stepping onto the shore, Xiao Tiance initially planned to burn the demon corpses using the Golden Emperor Burning Heaven Fla. Before he could act, however, Fatty Wa used the Heavenly Dao Tower to absorb the bodies both human and demon into its confines.
Xiao Tiance said nothing and simply summoned Qing Hou, his powerful puppet, back to his side before disappearing into the void.
The Blood Demon Continent was vast, even larger than the Northern Nether Continent. As Xiao Tiance pressed forward, he used his soul power to carefully avoid the demon patrols.
If he couldn't avoid them, he eliminated them with swift and decisive force. Fatty Wa efficiently handled the cleanup, leaving no traces behind.
But the deeper he ventured westward, the heavier Xiao Tiance's heart beca.
The scenes on this continent were far worse than the devastation on the Sacred Abyss Continent.
For humans, this place was a true hell on earth.
In the Sacred Abyss Continent, the land was desolate, with no signs of life for miles. But on the Blood Demon Continent, humans who were still alive were subjected to unimaginable tornt.
Hell on Earth
Xiao Tiance witnessed piles of human corpses discarded carelessly, their bones scattered everywhere.
So of the skeletons were crystal clear, a sign that their owners had once been strong practitioners.
Sitting by a small campfire in a hastily excavated cave, Xiao Tiance's expression was grim. The icy killing intent radiating from his body was palpable, and even Fatty Wa, perched on his shoulder, could feel it.
"Master, I know how much this pains you. But there's nothing we can do about it.
"The power gap between the demon clan and the Great Thousand World is enormous. The demons are at least twice as strong as all of us combined.
"In the territories they've conquered, suffering is inevitable," Fatty Wa said gently.
Xiao Tiance's eyes were filled with murderous rage. He snorted coldly and said, "I understand all of this, but I didn't expect the demons to be so cruel to treat humans as livestock for food.
"Don't worry, Fatty Wa. I'll hold myself back until Gu Yuan and Zhukun are rescued."
Fatty Wa imdiately understood what Xiao Tiance ant. The unspoken implication was clear: once the rescue was complete, Xiao Tiance would unleash his wrath.
"Master, Fatty Wa will stand by your side. I didn't witness the invasion of the Heavenly Dao Sect by the demon clan, but I heard the desperate cries for help from countless people.
"I, too, despise the demon clan to the core," Fatty Wa declared firmly.
Xiao Tiance nodded. "I believe you."
After resting briefly, Xiao Tiance extinguished the fire and vanished into the void once more.
Journey Through the Demon Lands
A day later, Xiao Tiance crossed the Blood Demon Continent and entered smaller territories still under demon control.
If the Blood Demon Continent was a hellish purgatory for humans, then these smaller territories were absolute death zones where no humans could survive.
Xiao Tiance saw mid level demons killing weaker ones, eating them raw or roasting them over fires. So demons impaled their victims on weapons or skewers before cooking them like at over an open fla.
What disgusted him even more were the collaborators humans who had betrayed their kind to serve the demon clan.
These humans groveled before the demons, behaving like dogs. Even low ranking demons with the strength of a re Three Tribulation Realm practitioner could treat these humans as disposable servants.
Crossing the Devourer Clan's Territory
Finally, Xiao Tiance managed to cross the Devourer Clan's territory without incident. Ahead lay a vast ocean.
Consulting his map, Xiao Tiance saw that he only needed to cross this sea and one more small continent to reach the Crescent Moon Sea, the gateway to the Haiyue Continent, where the Moon God Palace ruins were located.
Not daring to waste ti, Xiao Tiance pressed forward at full speed. By the ti the sun dipped below the horizon, painting the sky in fiery hues, he reached the Crescent Moon Sea.
The Crescent Moon Sea
The sea was teeming with Dragon Sharks, massive beasts corrupted by demonic aura. Hundreds of them patrolled the waters, their powerful auras making it clear they were formidable opponents.
Several of the sharks radiated the strength of Spirit Grade Heavenly Sovereigns.
"If I proceed like this, they'll definitely notice ," Xiao Tiance muttered, frowning.
"Fatty Wa, is there any way to drive these Dragon Sharks away?"
Fatty Wa's voice rang out confidently. "Master, I don't have a way to drive them off, but I can use the Heavenly Dao Tower to carry you across unnoticed."
